Nope wrong Bussi confirmed

I really really like the developmental OTs to start grooming as Moton II. (See previous post). In other words, you are probably right--BC could be slowed and Nijman is not an answer. We probably need a T in free agency. the depth at Edge (especially after the SR Bowl) makes me think we draft an OT early. The OT I want (being realistic--after a trade back in round 1): Monroe Freeling (UGA). Forget the "big 4"--at least 3 will be gone.
-
I agree. He is solid. Another player I think is underrated and with good reason (I will explain): Monroe Freeling UGA Many have him the fifth-rated OT, but I would put him at 2 or 3. Reason? He played the season with an ankle issue and still kicked arse. Here is a write-up that describes him--the injury, in my view, has him rated lower than if healthy all season. OT Monroe Freeling Georgia | 6'7" | 315 lbs Ht:6'7" Wt:315 lbs Class:JR Age:21 (25-Jul-2004) Monroe Freeling earned Second-Team All-SEC honors from league coaches for his performance during the 2025 season. Starting 12 of 13 games, he was twice named SEC Offensive Lineman of the Week after dominant showings against Auburn and Texas, notably grading out at 80 percent with zero pressures allowed against the Longhorns. During the 2025 season, he managed a nagging ankle injury suffered against Kentucky but remained a cornerstone for an offense that ranked first nationally in fourth-down conversions. As a draft prospect, he is recognized for his exceptional reach, mobility in pass protection, and "road-grading" power in the running game. While he has proven to be a reliable starter at left tackle, he also offers significant versatility having started at multiple positions along the line during the 2024 season. Here are some others I like (mostly developmental, but we have at least a year--we hope--at RT) Your boy: The Panthers were looking at Barber at the SR Bowl practices, I believe. Good run blocker--needs work in pass pro. A RT candidate? Shelton would be an ideal swing OT. I really like Bowry. Footwork is huge for a T, and we do a lot of zone blocking.

It is hard to argue what the Panthers need…and of,course, the scouts and Morgan, Tillis look several years ahead To me, offensive tackle is huge they are very expensive, hard to find Moton’s contract will also become problematic in 2027…not sure he will make it to 2027 in any case a rookie contract for OT could make all things better from a dependability, flexibility, depth, and cost perspective

Which is why the 5th year option is fuging stupid

4 Miami Hurricanes will not be drafted in the first round.

Canales has never been listed as an offensive genius. If you don't know what you have in Young by now, you never will.
-
Or it was Von Miller living in our backfield because Rivera refused to give any help to Remmers. Come on now. Be better…

Bussi isn't off to the Olympics, so he's getting a nice break. I'd play him tonite, evaluate his workload after and send him to the crease again Thursday. But we all know that's not how RBA works.

I show up to the huddle on a cold dreary Tuesday morning and this is what I find. From our own damn fans. We had the opportunity to take control of that game late into the fourth quarter. I mean for all the talent we had on the team. Kony fưcking Ealy was in position to possibly become the MVP of the game on our end if we had managed to regain control. That is despite the franchise cornerstone players we had on the roster at the time. If that doesn't tell you that it was undoubtedly a collective loss on both the players AND the staff I don't know what will. Have a good day ya'll.

I mean Cam not jumping on his fumble might have also had something to do with us losing..

David Newton's Panthers Free Agency Preview Dancy Party
Soul Rebel replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
I know there's not a lot in the FA pool, but these guys give me Kalil/Erving vibes. I guess beggars can't be choosers.....IDK. -
My biggest concern with Romello is that he’s a douche who played for 4 different schools. As a player tho, he gives you exactly what Princely gives you. Don’t see a reason to have both on this team

David Newton's Panthers Free Agency Preview Dancy Party

If he can make the switch, I always thought that was more of a prototypical RT than LT. Could be an OG too. Honestly, they can't keep paying offensive linemen like they have and probably should be drafting replacements for everyone this year and next. If they were an overpowering group, then maybe. But too much capital for just slightly above average group - some times. -
That's usually the narrative when there aren't highly touted QBs or DEs. Off ball LB is the position this year. And there are some really good prospects. WRs are deep too. No generational level guys but very deep with solid options. I would target CJ Allen in the 1st. I want a real ILB. Not a pass rusher that can move back. Not a safety that can move up. He's smart, tough, instinctive and durable. Dude had surgery on his meniscus and missed one game. One game. And... he's only played LB. Watching him control guards with his hands andsift through the garbage to get to the ball is refreshing. That's my guy in the 1st.

It’s always a weak draft, next year is always better according to the draftniks. This is a weak draft for QB, WR, and TE. Theres only a few true LT. RB and DB are average. It’s a good class for the rest of the Oline, Dline, Edge, and LB.
-
there is only a handful of blue chippers (Reece, Styles, Downs, Love, Bain) but overall its a pretty deep draft with solid players. Really deep on the defensive side particularly lb's so that is in our favor. Thats why I have been saying if styles is not there at 19 (he wont be) then try to pull a Rams/Falcons type deal and get another 2nd and first for next year. IMO there really isnt much difference in quality of players at the back half of the first into the 2nd

Diego Pavia measures 5'9" at the Senior Bowl

I’ve always thought Bryce looks more like 185 is being generous. I think he hovers naturally between 175-185. -
I'm usually a nerd when it comes to the draft, however I haven't paid any attention to this year's draft class. My general sense is that it's a weak class? There aren't any blue chip prospects or generational talents it seems like.

Can they stop with the blown leads? Anyways, get the W and move on. I would think Freddie tonight and Bussi to close it out Thursday.
