We’ve drafted two guys in the last two drafts on day 3, so I don’t see any upside going back to that well….especially in this draft. I could see if Njoku’s number comes down or someone else as a vet and true upgrade on a 1-yr deal. Re-visit next offseason and see if Sanders or Evans becomes what we want them to be between now and then. At some point, if we want to upgrade TE, we have to invest in a trade, an early draft pick or FA. These 4th rounders and beyond are what they are.

Well, thanks for at least trying to explain. I still don’t get it. To me, Beane and McD were like the ones that got away. I think I see enough in Morgan, combined with their recent dysfunction up there, to not pine for Beane anymore. McD is sold though.

But a lot of dots are connected to this discussion with LSU going back to February, if not before, and players likely knowing he's gone. Again, flawed roster and bad coaching, but State's cratering to end the season? Might make a little sense when the coach starts phoning it in and the players don't care anymore. Wade's a POS and I got sucked into wanting him last year. Now? I'm pulling for Carolina anytime they play LSU.
