  2. as much as I like to bash David Tepper, I am of the belief the QB issue is rooted with the folks Tepper employs to make those actual calls/decisions. With both his pro teams. He might want to put the final stamp on things but he is doing it all off the sales job they do on their decisions. The Bryce folks never left. Fitterer simply got fired because of the collective mess and embarrassment that went down. Morgan went into this season because Morgan (part of the team that brought us Bryce)......still believed. And orchestrated a shame QB room to keep him safe. And Morgan refused to trade Bryce and allowed the comeback when the national consensus after Dave benched and moved on from him 2 weeks into his era......was to trade him. Because that is what teams do when they dump a QB like Bryce in that fashion. Nothing we can do about Tepper. And I think Tepper has reached a point where he is overblamed. I think the biggest issue on Bryce and why we went into this season with a shame QB room......is Dan Morgan and his team.
  3. "I have been saying he sucks the whole fuging time." Lmaoooo...pie this if that describes you perfectly.
  4. Part of me says a good QB would flip things dramatically and a part of me thinks the NFLs best days are behind them already. Since 2020 there has been a noticeable decline in overall quality. The school level is fugged and isn't producing talent the way it was or needs too. There seems to be more to it but I don't know why. The pay goes up and the rules protect more but the quality looks worse every year. I don't know if Tepper will allow it and if he does how ling before he fuggs that up too?
  5. Tbf bam had 6 tackles 1 tfl and they held all world cmc to 84 rush yards on 3.7 ypc. That I am content with. The pass rush still needs work but compared to last year's record setting bad run d this year is a lot better. None of them are keuchly but they're better than I thought
  6. Great find on this, rough to see it laid out like that. Now we know why he plays so well against ATL.
  7. This team put so much stock in Young they basically had no choice but to continue to stick with him through this season. I think the way this season has gone it has basically confirmed he just isn't the guy. Trade him cut him I don't care just give him and us a fresh start. He should not be on this roster to start next year but likely will. If they pick up the 5th year I will honestly be speechless and absolutely done with Morgan and Canales. This is assuming Tepper truly will sit back and let those two make the decision on him.
  8. Surely the front office knows this. Jesus that's awful
  9. I think Geno and Murray are the vets I don't want, especially on their current contract. I am so over the Seattle connections with this crew. It started with Fritts and it's been a mistake since then.
  10. someone with a strong enough arm to play football outdoors. Bryce Young has 39 NFL starts. He has just 7 games indoors. In those 7 games, they contain 83% of his starts where he threw for more than 2 TDs (so every game but 1 was indoors) and 53% of his 200+ yard games as a passer.
  11. Sign Marcus Mariota as FA and trade for Will Levis (6th or later). Cut Bryce and Andy.
  12. Don't completely agree with the picks but 100% agree with the strategy. I have been saying this for weeks now. As @LinvilleGorge pointed out, it's the strategy the Giants employed and although not successful, it has at least given them ample options when one fails.
  13. That’s exactly how it went down for me. I’ve had a few concussions, but I ended up vomiting like 45 minutes after. I was playing backyard football, got trucked, and slammed the back of my head on frozen turf. I was out of it for a bit, took a small nap on the sidelines, drove home, puked in the yard, then slept the rest of the day. Ended up being a grade 3 concussion, but no concerns of a fracture or anything like that.
  14. I think this is a damning thing for Dave Canales. He is going to end up losing the team over his confounding decisions on the offensive side of the ball, which he is directly responsible for.
  15. Draft 2 qbs and sign Howell, Mac Jones, or Levis, or mills
  16. Had been a while since I saw him play just was wondering everyones thoughts on him. I thought he looked pretty much the same, his low average per carry seems to be more of an oline run blocking issue it seems. He has never been a huge push the pile runner thought he would benefit from more runs to the outside but he is on pace for 1000 1000 so cant say too much. Also thought his post game interview was nice you could tell he still thought alot of charlotte and the players he played with.
  17. Head coach keeps calling passing plays, even when the running game shows some promise in the face of adversity. Coach is giving the QB every, every, every chance to prove he can be the guy that is needed to fulfill what he needs from the position. And it just is disappointment after disappointment. One big game and the rest are nothing burgers except for a twinkle of light here and there. You just know Canales is looking at Bryce going, "He's just such a great kid, I'm giving him every chance, but..." Prepare for a change next season in QB. Bryce will end up as the QB2, a role he will be pretty darned good at, here or wherever. And I think his teammates are in the same boat as the coach. They love the guy but they are chained to him right now.
  18. I would stay away from this game betting wise. It has the makings of being one of those weird games we actually play close in like Philly and KC last year. Team pissed off, back home, + Rams possibly overlooking us. Good chance Dave actually runs the ball this week. Not saying we will win at all but there could be a garbage time TD that makes it a 8-9 point game late in the 4th. Rams don’t care about the spread, they want to get the win and go back home all the way across the country.
  19. A little but in reality a lot of those people are silent or gone. Many had some large issues with it or have already admitted wrongness. Then came the obligatory 'well he is here so I have to hope or pretend' that came after the pick. The poo was worth it. He was and is a mistake. Flat out, no asterisks needed.
  20. Everybody has a price. Texans have no OL or OL depth. They would part with him for a pick.
  21. But he was Young's mentor and buddy! You didn't want to hinder his development, did you?
