We need to see how that plays out before handing out the props. 2027 7th for 4 million in 2026 cap space seems like a great deal for Panthers if that's the case. 4-8(incentives) million is the going bottom rate for backup QBs, I think Dalton was right there in the 4 range. Well bonus, BY no longer wearing Huggies now....(just holding Pickett's ting hand now..)

A push-the-pile guy, really solid signing to compete in camp.

Best I got is AJ brown directs some some of "QB hate" from hurts to the rusty rifle... I mean did philly also take his salary too?? He had like 2.25 in guarantees and if so that lowers his cap increases his cap relief from 100,000 to 4,000,000+. That was a big issue from a release standpoint, 4 mill in cap space... I believe he also has around 2 mill in dead cap, but still better than 100,000 total..

Then draft Thieneman. He’s faster than AJ Brown and Justin Jefferson and runs as fast as Sadiq. Jumps as high as well.

Any word on ghost and e Rob drawing back in?
-
He played well for them, but he just wasn't better than Aaron Jones. But he had some solid seasons playing second fiddle.
-
Thought he would be something for GB but just never did anything. Really forgot about him quickly; don’t expect anything but it’s never bad to add more bodies and see what shakes out.

Look at us play and tell me we are in a different era. We are old school. Team is being built old school. I get people mostly don’t use fullbacks any more, but then I don’t know why the hell we would need 4 TEs. And we are not going with a bell cow back system. Two backs, 1a&1b needed for 17 games. A QB that can’t run a sneak, now that is definitely not old school. I admit that. I would find somewhere to cut the roster by a player if we had a real short yardage guy.

Which side of the ball needs more help?

Both. -
Andy Dalton PHIQuarterback#14 Eagles acquired QB Andy Dalton from the Panthers in exchange for a seventh-round pick. It was previously reported that the Panthers were getting calls for Andy Dalton. The team then went out and signed Kenny Pickett, making it clear they were moving on from Dalton this offseason. Getting even a seventh-round pick in return for Dalton is mildly impressive for Panthers GM Dan Morgan. Dalton will now replace Tanner McKee as Jalen Hurts’ backup.

Breaking: Panthers add RB AJ Dillon

Different era . Made sense then not so much now . I hope we keep him we need a power back badly -
Rather cutting decent players than being forced to pick up others teams trash. New approach or just a better GM and moneyman combo. Who knows. I like it.
