  2. They didn't even list Arch. Unless he has a miraculous turnaround, there's 0% chance he comes out. The family won't let a Manning QB be drafted outside of the top 10 I I I need to do a deep dive on Mateer. On the surface, the little I've seen, he seems to be a Baker Mayfield clone. If that's accurate, as long as he doesn't take as long to mature personally and professionally, that may not be a bad option either.
  3. At least he's made enough money for some sweet, tricked up four wheelers to go mudding on.
  4. Yes. Big surprise that the man that couldn't even operate a pizza joint even with his name value in Charlotte can't run an NFL front office. Can't get over his 2023 and 2024 draft classes. Taking XL, Brooks, Wallace takes a special skill of incompetence. Can't get over his plan at MLB. Was apart of the Fitterer team and their comedy of errors. We need fresh ideas in the building next year not only at GM, but in our scouting department.
  5. Alabama yes. In general the ‘SEC success guarantees NFL success’ fallacy was really tough to overcome too. You still have to look at the player and extrapolate what their college performance would look like against a team full of NFL vets. I think 62 SEC players were drafted in 2023. But there were over 1600 players rostered on SEC a teams. You might even face an SEC defense that had no one drafted. Like Vanderbilt had no one taken in 2025. So you just can’t blindly hold that hey he was great in the SEC he is a lock. Damn, especially with a weak armed little guy with bad throwing mechanics,
  6. The question was regarding Bryce only play well when the game doesn't matter and us out of reach. Bryce did not have a great 4th quarter but he had a great 1st half. Started the game 4 of 5 for 45 yards and a passing TD. He made a lot of great plays in the drive where we scored our 2nd TD which was a short run by Chuba. He also had a great run to pick up a first when the pocket collapsed around him. Great pocket awareness and plenty fast and athletic enough. The point being he played very well at a time where the game was not out of reach or garbage time. That was my point and those games listed are the evidence that prove that point.
  7. His comments after the game said it looked like regular defense.
  8. With Tet coming on, it’s a matter of time before he has a game(s) that he runs roughshod and destroys a spread because he is that dude. Would it surprise anybody if he went for 125 and 2 TDs next week?
  9. For once they actually played better than the worst defense in the league. They still were bad. The offense was worse outside a couple of players. The coaching is still bad.
  10. You need linebackers to blitz and we can’t afford those because every draft pick and free agent has to prop up Bryce.
  11. Not sure how accurate this is, will be curious to see the breakdowns from the people who go through the All 22 video. On my Arizona board, a bunch of people who were at the game have been saying even though they're Cardinals fans, they were rooting for T-Mac and were getting frustrated at how often he was running wide open and Bryce was throwing a check down to someone else instead of even looking T-Mac's way. I also saw an article talking about two plays where T-Mac broke loose behind the defense and if Bryce held onto it for another half second he'd have had an open deep ball look, but instead checked it down a hair too early. So sure, maybe they were giving him more attention, but from the sound of it, he was still getting open but Bryce was the one making the decision to look elsewhere.
  12. Part of all of this is Canales needing to look out for his job as well. I completely expect him to be here next year but next year could be the year he gets fired if he doesnt improve things. So if BY doesnt improve significantly, I would expect to see a new QB here next year. Canales job will determine on how the QB position plays next season.
  13. Maybe he doesn't have a choice this season and is just proving a point... lol
  14. I wanted Slater in the 1st after we just missed out on Sewell. His film showed he could handle elite pass rushers even though his arms were an inch shorter than ideal which is why Rhule wouldn't even consider him. All pro as a rookie. And I'm with you that we should have taken CH in the 2nd. the 2 most important positions on the line solidified for a decade. Nothing against Horn, but you take a franchise LT when they're sitting in front of you, and Slater was clearly that. And the even more sad part is my homer Wolverine pick in the 3rd was Nico Collins. I didn't think he would turn into what he has, but for a 3rd rounder, I wouldn't have hesitated in the slightest. We've been trying to outsmart the room for years and we look really stupid. Horn, TMJ, BC or Slater, Creed, Collins. Completely different offense if we had done something so simple.
  15. Ejiro wont get fired.. he gets AT LEAST 4 games - probably closer to half the season. My biggest issue with him is that all teams know that Horn doesnt travel, so they just isolate him on the far side and target Jackson.
  16. Morgan takes his orders from the Tepper's. Ultimately if we fire him it's just going to be another yes man. I don't like it either but that's where we're at.
  17. Are you doubling down for the Falcons game? If so, post your bet slip
  18. Hopefully Dan and Canales can pick their own QB instead of being told who to pick like the front office was in 2023 and 2024. Dunno about this year's draft but maybe that's why it looks better. lol
  19. I was done with him the moment his hiring was announced. Completely bonkers decision to promote someone from the Fitterer front office. Everyone involved with any of those decisions under Fitterer should've been canned along with him for a complete overhaul of the room. Tepper is such a clown
  20. It seems that Arizona started focusing on him after he started making some of those catches and Bryce didn't target him again since. How's he going to handle when defenses game plan for him going forward making it incredibly dangerous for Bryce to throw his way? We need some of the other WRs to step up and is a reason why XL being so crap is disappointing.
  21. It's still mostly the same scouts running the show that we're here in 2021, they've just been promoted. Nicole and David are all over the building and in meetings when it's draft and FA time. They are still completely making the decisions.
  22. Im still ok with Dan. Also the reality is that we have to stick with Dan... Im a big believer that GM's and HC's need to be tied to the hip - and we are not firing Canales in year 2 of 7. I think almost no matter how the year end results are, we are having another year with Canales. Its how ye does NEXT year that will determine if he gets fired or not.
  23. it's not apples to apples as Keary Colbert's rookie season was better....but XL is about to make Colbert's sophomore regression look like nothing.
