I don’t think many fans would have guessed the Chiefs and Ravens would be where they are right now. Same goes for some surprise packages like the Colts, I’m not sure many would have put money on them being top of their division after five weeks. It’ll be interesting to see if this continues! Not necessarily. The Chargers have lost both starting OL and their 1st and 2nd choice RBs. They fell apart against Washington. The Broncos have just beat the Eagles, so they’d be my favourite in that division, but they are still only one win ahead of the Chiefs. All the Chiefs need is a couple of results to go their way and they’ll be right in the fight for the AFC East. I think that division is going to be very close and probably not a 12 or 13 win division like predicted. Unless of course the Broncos kick on.

Bryce Young Is a Symptom, Not the Disease
SmokinwithWilly replied to NAS's topic in Carolina Panthers
Not so much the franchise as the owner. I realize its his franchise and all, but the majority of the fan base realized at the time that bringing him in would definitely send the wrong message especially considering why JR was forced to sell, and two, it would literally cripple the franchise for 4 years in salary cap and picks for a guy who was going to be suspended for who knew how long. It was epic stupidity on grand display and Big Daddy Dave was leading the charge. -
He has to watch film of this. Lol. I have never seen anything like that fumble. I don’t think.

Seems that I remember some people saying Devin Lloyd was trash

I remember a previous 1st round Jags player we took that didn’t work out too well for us. -
Remember that this franchise was willing to give away the farm for Deshaun Watson. Massive red flag that we were less trying to build a team than believing that we just needed to hit on a lotto ticket with just one guy. That's not how it works. And no, we cannot make that same mistake again. I look at this staff and this roster and ask myself whether it's ready to support yet another high draft round QB who can win it all for us before we have to pay them that big contract. That's a no right now. Questionable coach, one potential playmaker with T-Mac, and questionable O-line with all the injuries equals almost feeling bad for the (potentially) next guy coming in.

Helps you keep building the roster which we desperately need to be doing. Lance or Fields wouldn’t cost any assets except some salary cap space with Lance being the cheaper option. You also can draft one if they happen to fall to you in the right spot. I thinking a Carson Beck or Taylen Green if they fall to us in the 3rd or later or whenever there is a lot of value.

Between the Pats and the Chiefs i'm so sick of football dynasties, back to back we've been dealing with that bs for like almost 20 years

He was a disappointing 1st rounder, hence why his option wasn't picked up. That's the was the Jags' opinion who are more familiar with him as an NFL player than any other organization. -

He's trying to say prior to this year he was the Sam Howell of LBs -

That's your opinion. It still doesn't mean that he was, or that he wasn't put into the best positions to succeed, and still played well enough to be rank relatively well overall (including 22nd last season and has been top 10 in run defense the last couple of seasons). I mean, come on. He's certainly a better than JAG, which "meh" implies---average or mediocre. He's certainly a better LB than Coker is a receiver. Why downplay it? -

Yeah true good point. Uh, that tied the Jake Delhomme debut game . That was done with flair, in a half. Down 17-0 to the Jags here comes Jake all full of fire. Season opener of a Super Bowl year that set us on that path. I honor that poo. Yesterday was really, really good but Bryce did not drive that and it just wasn’t on the same level. Really good accomplishment, that the defense had a large hand in. And Canales took the ball out of Bryce’s hands for stretches. fuging RICO was great. I shouldn’t knock it, but it doesn’t compare. To me, -
People here said they wanted Jameis, just probably not like this.

The Huddle: "Off with Bryce Young's head"!!!!

But -- who would've guessed, five weeks into the NFL season... the Carolina Panthers and the Kansas City Chiefs would have the SAME record.

Chiefs are done.

Second heartbreaker for me this season.

Yeah there are at least a few people here who blame Bryce Young for their failed marriages or their inability to attract women.

And I lost my fantasy matchup by a point thanks to hunt and butker. Tough night

That was genuinely a fun game to listen to on the radio. The Jags announcer dude was screaming and losing his voice in that 4th quarter multiple times lol . I had to listen to most of the game due to work

It's gonna be such an interesting postscript to Bryce's time here as starter that he's tied for the franchise single-game touchdown record and tied for the biggest comeback in team history. -
Seems like our loss the Jags doesn't look so bad anymore. Patriots just beat the bills last night as well. Food for thought..

Lawrence got knocked down and got right back up, running it for the TD. Sigh. On our side, that would’ve been a sack or fumble
