Panthers re-signing another of their own free agents
shaqattaq replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Makes me curious about Rozeboom's plan. He is decent enough depth that was forced to start when Jewel suddenly retired. I doubt that he's getting a lot of looks as a starter with some of the names still out there and a deep ILB draft. I would love him back on the cheap as depth, but I bet we're waiting for the market to settle so we don't end up overpaying. -
@toldozer - Anything you like this evening. I did another chalk parlay for fun...

The trial is gonna sway stuff bigtime. The girlfriend is saying if they don't do anything, he's gonna kill her. I don't know if yall remember but Hardy fell into this and you know the story of his career arc... This is actually worse than Hardys bc the police were actually involved or witnessed this erratic behavior 1st hand.

@toldozer @PantherChris @SOJA - as the only other degenerates I know on this site, wanted to invite you guys to be in the March Madness Blind Auction me and some buddies do every year. Screen grab of rules / buy in below. Let me know if interested and send your email to my messages. I'll forward you the spreadsheet which has all the history (11 years) so you can see what people generally bid and what has won.

Seems we're kicking the tires to see if there's anything there. Would be a surprise if he's still around by September, though.

Latest on Panthers free agency plans

My understanding is that the hope with free agent Brady Christensen’s Achilles recovery is that he will be cleared to participate in training camp in July (around the 9 month mark). He sustained the injury in late October during the #Panthers’ Week 8 loss to Buffalo. He has played all five OL positions in Carolina. And had maybe the best stretch of his career at RG last season, particularly during the back-to-back big Rico Dowdle games against Miami and Dallas. https://x.com/mike_e_kaye/status/2032502369586446696?s=46&t=xeIgh_-Vr2aKxBkBJdfnKA -

not sure if this is the best place to post this, but this is very good tool to learn about each prospect. NFL.com does it every year. Pretty sure I remember reading that teams also use it, but can't say for sure. Gives great info on the position each prospect is best for, scheme fits and their weaknesses. https://www.nfl.com/draft/tracker/prospects/all-positions/all-colleges/all-statuses/2026?page=2

He obviously listened to his elders. I believe my grandmother actually told me this: if you want to know how your girl is gonna look in 20 years look at her mother.

He wasn't great but he wasnt bad, and ive said before our goalies facing 16 shots is actually to their detriment because there are LONG stretches were they arent involved in the game at all. Bottom line is you don't score 1 goal and blame the goalie for giving uo 2 this is like the year before last when everyone blamed freddie for 2-1 losses.... you dont win jack in the ecf scoring two goals. After thinking about last night's loss its kind of painfuly obvious the top half of the team are giving minimal effort right now, (with a 10 point metro lead and games in hand they would need to go like 2-14 in order to NOT finish first in the metro)

Ooof glad I didn't see that, although at this point its just him talking out his ass. The problem I have is so what if prices for trades were expensive? This team has been hoarding assents for a decade with a title window open most of are best players are now at their peak, we don't care about being a playoff team for anther eight years in a row, hell I'd take a cup and be cool with anther drout (wont happen) the only trade we made that we legitimately didn't get ROI was Guentzel, Yes you can argue we didnt get enough from the Necas/Raantanen debacle but Necas was never going to be a 90 point guy in rods system and neither was Raantanen. Guys top out at PPG because Rod divided the minutes up in such a way that our top line plays minutes that for anyone else are second line.... and our other 3 lines all play what would be #2 line minutes elsewhere.

I have full confidence that we could put Bryce Young at RG and he'd play better than Zavala

Need one of these for Devin Lloyd.
