  1. Past hour
  2. Seriously though, I was thinking that it's like throwing poo against the wall. We just don't know. We're so unlucky that we could give Fitz his shot like Bear Hands wants and Sauls goes on to be the next Chris Boswell while Fitz becomes the next in a line of misses. I was just thinking that. *Sigh*
  3. Bonus: How does this compare to last offseason heading into Game 1?
  4. I don't know personally which guy would be right for us moving forward, but I do have faith that we will evaluate that situation thoroughly, come to a consensus and make the wrong decision.
  5. Fits hasn’t missed in a game yet, just keep it going with the guy. Absolutely no harm in continuing to see what he’s got. We’re not winning the SB (obviously)
  6. I know Kelvin Benjamin had a great rookie year but I just get the feeling we are going to need a bigger safety net this coming season outside Cotchery. You guys are talking up Brown but this dude is a JAG, I am telling you. Anyway, although everyone is talking up Cooper as this generational WR, I have my eye on Lockett(Kansas St.) and Diggs(Maryland) as some impact guys that could go later. I just have a feeling. Also could potentially look at OT. Chandler and Bell are just not it. I would say maybe take a look at Donovan Smith(Penn St.). Could be a solid LT for years to come.
  7. Also, the fact we are comparing this one to the 10 preseason tells me we are in for another horrible year.
  8. Well, they're both in the same league (if you will). During preseason, Fitz went 3/3 & Sauls went 5/6, but of course Sauls was 4/4 last night (including one 50+). Both were Lou Groza Award finalists. I believe Fitz made two 55+ yarders last season, while Sauls led the nation with three. Fitz was 13/13 () while Sauls was 21/24 (87.5). Fitz was a 3rd-Team AP All-American, while Sauls was a PFF All-American. Career-wise, Fitz was 58/74 (78.4), while Sauls was 52/64 (81.3). I wish that I could see the attempts and knew the depth of yardage. I wish that we could compare practice kicks during their training camps, but we can't. Maybe someone with a PFF/CFF account can give that. Basically it's just a matter of belief I guess. Seeing dude knock down four FGs and go perfect during a pressure-filled game for him is damned impressive if you ask me. I don't believe that Fitzgerald could do that. That being said, I'd have to know more. I will say that it may be worth mentioning that we seem to like PFF this year and Sauls being a PFF All-American may be notable. Now that being said, the Panthers may not be even considering Sauls.
  9. Ive said it 1000x times on here. Our 2025 season will be dictated by the first 4 games. poo the bed there and lose all confidence and momentum, we win 5 games maybe. Go 2-2, 3-1 we got a look at 7/8 wins
  10. I basically made almost the exact predictions on a phone call with a buddy about 3 weeks ago. I really do expect Evero gone before the seasons end, Young to just not able to get over the hump enough and DC to head into next season on a VERY hot seat.
  11. 4-7 is the range I have predicted since the draft(or before). I am sticking with that. Official: 5-12
  12. I expect alot of free Sunday afternoons. Rinse and repeat. BY cements that he is not a franchise QB. Win maybe 4-6 games putting us once again in purgatory. That's the optimistic take lol
  13. Today
  14. We are a little better than last year on defense and our WR room, and our schedule is very easy compared to others. 7-8 games is not out of the question when you play the NFCS for 6 of them.
  15. I feel like Princely and Scourton can be 4-3 DEs
  16. I went to the Atlanta home game in the rain and was miserable the whole day. Being soaked from rain and watching horrible football. lol
  17. I think they struggle to get to 4 wins.
  18. The panthers are such a trash organization at this point that all the huddle can do is argue about which panthers team is historically the worst…good times.
  19. Well, hope they're not worried about a torn Labrum or Rotator Cuff, as someone who went through that myself, I know those don't have anything show up on X-Rays but from the MRI, so this is kinda a nothing update, hope it's not a tear or his season is already over if they decide to do surgery now. Which is basically what would be needed to get him to 100% for the start of next season's training camp if it's a labrum. If he plays the season with it and then does surgery, he's not going to be ready for camp and probably not the start of the season either.
  20. I always try to not pay much attention to a team’s preseason win/loss record. The 1982 Washington and 2021 LA Rams both lost every game in the preseason and went on to win the Super Bowl, whereas the 2008 Detroit Lions and 2017 Cleveland Browns both won every game in reason and went on to lose every regular season game. There’s many examples of teams that lose in preseason that go on to have good seasons, but equally there are teams that lose in preseason and that continues in the regular season. Which will we be? I think our floor is a handful of wins, while our ceiling will probably be around the 9-10 win mark. The latter will require significant improvement from the whole team and coaching staff, and will also need Bryce to play like the QB we drafted him to be. I want to be optimistic and predict a winning season, but it’s really difficult as a Panthers fan!
  21. Cos he looks much better?
  22. Serious note: why would we want Sauls over Fitz now?
  23. Agree to disagree. 2023 doesn’t even register with me. 2010 physically hurt.
  24. I thought that dude was about to stroke out! My guy looked like ish..
  25. It legit pisses me off because it was impossible to evaluate guys like Horn when they throw them in there with shitty OLs allowing instapressures on a QB who has been here less than a week, who actually is 100 times better than the shitty QB they’ve had in the roster for 2 years who tried to put multiple receivers in the hospital tonight. like this poo has me super pissed. The team looked a lot better overall with Canales and severo calling plays tonight, but damn that was frustrating to watch. They literally can throw all the tape out from when Plummer was on the field. And then when Perkins came in, the OL was absolute poo. I just don’t understand how any of that is useful for evaluating.
