  1. Past hour
  2. Anyone still trying to convince fans that Bryce Young is going to be okay (with a poo-ton of conditions needing to exist) has zero credibility with me. The guy never passed the simple eye-test with me a couple years ago, and I'll never believe he is an NFL-level QB.
  3. The first half 2 min possession was worse imo. They took 1 minute to get off 3 plays. The first play was a run and then I thought they were trying to run the clock out with 2 mins and 3 timeouts.
  4. It will be hard pressed to look as bad as the Jimmy Clausen experiment. The 2023 team was close but just barely a bit better. The fact that it was only 1 season caused everyone put it out of their minds because it got Cam. This mess has dragged out for 2 seasons and is headed for 3 makes it feel worse. Jimmy couldn't even get a 1st down on a prevent defense. The had a coach that wanted to get the hell out town before the season even started. It was truly unbearable to watch.
  5. While it certainly is a gamble to take a guy with injury concerns, if that player is at a critical position (moreso in terms of positional value, not roster need), then it’s not necessarily an unforgivable sin to take that player if your medical staff thinks the player will make a full recovery. But RB isn’t a position that carries a ton of value. It’s not a QB, edge rusher or left tackle. So not a great look for Morgan when ignoring the context of the roster. When you add that in, the fact that we’ve got a player I think you could fairly characterize as “at worst serviceable,” and honestly more fairly describe as “median starting RB in the league” in Chuba Hubbard already in the backfield, and the decision to not just draft, but trade up for Brooks, becomes inexcusable.
  6. The fundamental lie that is repeatedly ignored is that have a mathematical chance to make the playoffs is the only pressure an NFL QB feels. NFL is nothing but pressure. Every game. Every snap. You play to win. You play to keep your job. Now, the talking point is moving from he can't play at all to he only plays well when the pressure of the playoffs no longer exists. It's beyond dumb especially for a team that almost no one expects to be a playoff team given we are barely over a year into the Canales, Morgan, Bryce era. In fact, Id say the pressure on losing teams without much recent success and a lot of turnover in players and staff is is very high and gets worse with every loss.
  7. has a team ever failed so hard at end of game?
  8. The defense here has never been good with evero. Last year was record breaking bad. He has chosen his guys several times ( dj Johnson, scott) and they have all been terrible. Evero imo does nothing to make the defense better in the 3 seasons ive seen him. Is he the only problem? No. But he is definitely not the solution
  9. AZ didn't even have a good pass rush. We just declare it great because Bryce imploded when pressure got in. Murray found himself in that same type scenarios Bryce did. Instead of it resulting in horrible turnovers.....he made a couple really big plays when the auto pressure got in. Canales/Bryce solved nothing. Cardinals implemented the give you free short passes in exchange for clock strategy. What happens there is generally the team you easily beat gets back into the game to some degree. Cardinals just saw the worst case variety of it. But played D the final series and ended it with relative ease.
  10. I'm done gaslighting myself, and being gaslit by Bryce Stans, that he's good and just needs more time, help, etc etc.
  11. It sure looked like Chuba was open in the flat repeatedly. He may not have been but it looked it. He absolutely was on the intentional grounding but I'll grant Bryce wasn't going to be able to throw towards the other side of the field in that circumstance.
  12. It ain't worth the price of parking.
  13. Diamond Dave would give up 3 1sts to move up to 1 to draft a RB. We're going 0-17 with DC, Evero and BY. This the worst Panthers team I've ever seen, including the one run by the corpse of George Seifert.
  14. really, if you're going to be in CLT, Carowinds or the NASCAR museum is a better choice
  15. I know we got some eagerly looking forward for the PFF grades and access to that all22.....to build the garbage time checking down Bryce was actually pretty dang good Sunday and it was once again, everyone else.
  16. He kinda did "So how do you solve Arizona’s suddenly fearsome pass rush? Screens. Quick hitters. Chuba Hubbard in the flat. Maybe even a shovel pass to a tight end. There was plenty of time — what there wasn’t was plenty of yardage, nor enough flexibility from Canales."
  17. Two outliers over the past 25 years or whatever? Even if we got Frank Gore in the 2nd round, that wasn't gonna move the needle a millimeter on this team. Absolutely indefensible draft selection.
  18. I would go, get a tmac autograph, and leave before the game even starts and enjoy my Sunday elsewhere
  19. Every single pass should have been to Renfrow or TMac. The biggest oof was missing Chuba in the flat and instead grounding it. Chuba had an easy 20 yards on that.
  20. Frank Gore says hi. Willis McGahee says hi.
  21. It was probably hard to find someone that was all in on Young. Dan is obviously very pro Bryce because he is still the penciled in starter with zero competition. Unfortunately I think we need to clean house. I'm not seeing much of anything that is salvageable.
  22. Don't forget that practically their entire starting secondary was out of the game with injuries by this point in the game.
  23. I think Canales can be a solid coach under the right circumstances, but I have little to no faith in our front office and scouting department to do anything but luck into good players in the draft. We seem to have hit on a player in TMac, but you should get a good player in the top-10 so that's nothing to brag about. We also got lucky and found a gem UDFA in Jalen Coker, but at the same time we made one of the worst 1st round picks in franchise history that same year in Xavier Legette. We also seem to have found something in Brycen Tremayne so that's not nothing, but overall it's hard to look at the lack of talent we've brought in via the draft in recent years and not see a clear problem.
  24. all this against what will likely be the leagues worst defense
