Rhule also had 2 superior qbs and blew it with both darnold and baker. I do honestly think we would be a lot better with either of those 2 plus Canales. Darnold, baker>>>> young Canales/Morgan >>>>>> rhule, Wilks, fitterer Just look at what happened to the vikings this year when they went with a qb that sucks. You can qb whisper all you want but doesn't matter if the qb is deaf. We need a new qb period But I fully expect to lose next week and lose the division but the bucs will get blasted out of the playoffs immediately

Horn messed up pretty bad in that Jets game where he flattened out his route for no reason and almost resulted in a INT then in that Saints game he didn’t think he was supposed to get that hand off resulting in a costly fumble I think he’s not too far behind XL with the in between the ears issues but had it not been for those two hiccups he probably be seeing the field more by now Agree on Coker btw. That’ll hurt some feelings around here but he’s pretty damn reliable/dependable which is something Bryce’s game is dependant on being an anticipation type thrower

BDS is strong on this

Bryce’s pick was bad. Where in this thread did I say it wasn’t? 3 years? I was completely over this guy after game 1 in 2023 in Atlanta. Post benching he’s looked better and has shown things I wanted to see. Not much more to it. You allow your emotions to take over much like a few others to the point that it’s impossible to talk anything team related because everything is blamed 100% on Bryce

If we win the division we might actually attract a decent free agent we don’t have to pay double for. Or a better head coach next time around instead of hiring whoever wants the job.

He is frequently out of position and frequently misses tackles with a 12.3% Missed Tackle Percentage and leads the team by a huge margin in total missed tackles. He is genuinely one of the worst linebackers we have ever had. Yes he has a lot of tackles but he makes very frequent mistakes and plenty of those tackles are pursuing when he has already fuged up at least once. Great athlete but he is a special teamer and not an NFL starting LB.

One thing I think people are missing is if we win we will have a winning record at 9-8. It’s not like we would win the division at 7-10 or 6-11. New York won a Super Bowl after finishing the regular season with 9 wins. Not saying we will, but when did 9 wins become unrespectable? Bold talk from a fan whose team is used to 5 wins per season

I'm not defending Goff, both picks were bad. Why won't you just admit on Bryce's pick he had a clean pocket, time and a wide open WR that he badly missed. It's okay man. Players can make bad plays. You have no problem pointing out the flaws in other players, but can't bring yourself to criticize Bryce. I get it, you have over 3 years of emotional equity build up in this guy. I admire the unrelenting loyalty. I've had players that I had stock in over the years and yes, it sucks ragging on 'your' guy. Bad games are going to happen, though.

I just want a new division shirt. My last one has a hole in it

Lol show me where I excuse the offense at all. I’d bench Bryce for throwing to the LOS on 4th and 17, too. I’ve said repeatedly that there was A LOT of suckage yesterday. Nevertheless, we had a chance to get the ball back with 10 minutes left, down by only a touchdown, having just scored a touchdown, with ALL the momentum. The whole playbook is open. You can try to score quick and get 2 possessions, you can have a long drive and try to keep SEA from having another meaningful possession, anything. If any one of us were told that we could have a terrible game but still be in that position at that point in the game against the #1 record in the NFC, we’d take it. For Bryce Young to do what Jaycee Horn did, it would be like if it was 4th down on the final possession and we snap the ball and EVERYTHING goes right. All receivers are wide open. The defensive line has inexplicably walked off the field. Bryce can literally walk the ball across the 1st down marker if he wants to. He could just hand it to a running back and let a teammate walk across the first down marker. Instead, he spikes the ball. That’s the equivalent. Fug Jaycee Horn.

If you can't get some playing time on a team with this many injuries and this many weak spots, then you're just not getting something. Maybe he can't learn the playbook, maybe he isn't catching on well with teammates, maybe he's just working through too many nagging but no debilitating injuries. Maybe he's a meathead that can hit someone right in front of him, but can't actually be part of a system. Who knows? I do know, though, that at this last moment of the regular season, if you aren't getting used, then it's because they have little use for you. They used to keep guys like this as a wedge buster for kick offs....

Cool I work that day. Let’s keep nfl football to Sundays thanks

Also add in you should know what you have after 2 years with coaching and 3 years with players. Well crap, 0 for 0 The fear that cutting a coach after 2 years is a negative is wildly overplayed around here. It's the standard. Yes Reich was fired in his first year but that's also forgetting/discounting all the crazy crap they had going on in house at that time. The only crazy part of that is it wasn't a complete purge.

Yes, mainly RG. Lewis was out some and Corbett/Mayes have alternated at center, which is what they competed for in camp so 1A, 1B; no huge downgrade there between the two. Our tackles have largely stayed healthy and that is you key to pass pro, while acknowledging all 5 positions are important. Again at this point in the year a lot of teams experience this, we are no exception. The Chargers started off the year losing their star lineman and it went downhill from there.

Holy poo, App State is 5-7 and in a bowl game. LOL! The dozens in attendance look thrilled to be there. Attendance is so light half the players' parents didn't even bother.

I have said that about Morgan in his playing days looking at facing Bryce, he would be licking his chops. To present a case for Dan having some sanity. I mean no way a real player would fear him, right? But I am not sure any more.

Bryce missed a number of opportunities yesterday. There were guys open but he had either already moved on from them or never even got to them in the progression. He doesn't have a guy right now that he trusts. It was TMac earlier in the season, but he and TMac are not on the same page all the time, and Coker is actually the best WR on the team right now. I know that hurts some feelings, but it's true. The oline got their lunch money taken all day. It was really bad. In both the run game and the pass game. You could see when the QB lost all confidence in them and that mental clock started to shorten. But as a QB you have to push through that and stand in the pocket, go through your progressions, and deliver an accurate ball on time. But yeah, my biggest take away is that this offense lacks speed and a true playmaker. A couple of solid guys but no true playmaker. As much as BY checked down to RBs, they couldn't make a guy miss in one one opportunities. And they weren't even LBs. They were DBs. You have to make that guy miss. If they're serious about winning right now and not about player development, then Jimmy Horn needs to take XLs snaps. They only put him in to influence the deep safety with fly routes - XL can do that. Jimmy can run a lot more of the route tree than XL right now. Also Etienne needs to play more snaps. If BY is gonna be a checkdown king, then they need someone that can actually do something with the ball in space. Interior oline is weak. They aren't very consistent getting to the second level. Outside runs are this team's bread and butter. Gotta embrace that.
