  1. Past hour
  2. Of course he's not the literal worst. But the problem is the price the team paid and the fact he's nearly 40. If you're going to keep around a low end backup go with a younger cheaper option. I mean as much as we say Jack Plummer is cheeks the guy is making very little by comparison.
  3. The Pathers have enough trash of their own. Why the fug would we be rooting through other peoples garbage?
  4. I think Panthers fans are going to be in for quite the wake up when Dalton isn't the backup. He is far from the worst.
  5. Howell should be a decent backup but at this point it is worth questioning if there is anything else at play given the number of times he's been traded. And to springboard from that it's almost laughable looking at how many other teams are playing musical chairs with their QB rooms continually churning and not being complacent while the lowly Panthers have been content with two of the worst backups in the league.
  6. Makes sense. The rap on him at Colorado was that he held onto the ball waaaaay too long trying to make something happen.
  7. I would put the chances of the Falcons trading with us a division rival at less than zero. Let the Falcons live with him.
  8. Well, he would make our safeties look better in intra-team practice…
  9. McCord should be available soon.
  10. Being an interception machine cant help.
  11. If Anthony Richardson didn’t exist, Bryce Young would have lead the NFL in bad throw % in both 2023 AND in 2024. bad OL and highest paid OL. Bryce the constant.
  12. Kyle Pitts is a cryptid. Locals in Atlanta swear he’s for real. There are reports and sightings that come out nationally every once in a while. But there’s nothing of substance there.
  13. Panther win total since 2018 - over dramatic 7 5 5 5 7 2 5
  14. They really work themselves up. Its so overdramatic.
  15. Today
  16. He isn't worth a 3rd, more like a 6th or 7th. That isn't the point though. We would be trading our best WR for a 4th? A 4th that is likely to be a special teams/PS player or out of the league in a couple of seasons.
  17. I mean, Carolina in their negotiations should have had the Vikings put Howell in their deal. Give AT, get the 4th and Howell…..then negotiate eating cap or a pick swap if needed.
  18. Yeah, something is definitely up. He is either a real dum-dum or a locker room cancer or something. The talent level doesn't match the results.
  19. I hope you all can see Tic Tock Videos Cooper Dejean says his welcome to the NFL Moment was against Carolina playing against Adam lol
  20. Yet he keeps being traded away by teams who just traded for him to be their backup....for less than they gave up to acquire him
  21. He has a live arm, and if you don't have one of the top backup QB's in the league who could start for a few teams, that's the type of backup you want to have as they might make mistakes, but they're also going to make a few plays too.
  22. He can play football as his rookie season shows. Whether it's his desire or just horrible usage, nothing has translated since then. I wouldn't mind a trade for him to see if a change of scenery could improve anything, but I wouldn't offer anything substantial. Late round pick or a oline we're likely going to cut anyway.
  23. Howell is not a starter, but a decent backup. He's kind of in the same mold of Hurts athletically, so if he does miss time, they don't have to tweak the offense to a backup that's polar opposite skill set of their stater. It makes sense to me.
  24. Too bad we don’t have a pass rush to take advantage of it
