  1. Past hour
  2. Great game, but it was the correct call.
  3. Yeah I guess that makes sense, but how anyone who actually was around to watch Cam play is advocating for someone consistently bottom tier on every meaningful metric is beyond me. Bryce stans are basically trying to convince people Blake Bortles is Mahomes actually.
  4. Great job by the defense today bringing home the win!
  5. I think the more they allow legalized gambling the less faith fans will have in impartiality. I can easily see refs being asked to meet a certain quota for games. Holding and PI are so easy to call they can get away with seeing it or not seeing it.
  6. Anyone hear anything further about Jaycee’s arm/shoulder?
  7. Much love to Bryce. He looked good today. As for him being our 2nd best QB, I’d hold off on that. He’s not better than Jake yet IMO
  8. Crazy ending. Goff was pleading for the flag to be picked up
  9. A bit off here. I watch every game and any time they make it out to vaguely the west coast, I’m there in person. I guess you’re suggesting that the saints time of possession is indicative of the defensive lapse? Despite the points? Yes, the saints’ drives dominated the time of possession. But much of that was questionable penalties extending drives and just frankly lucky contested plays. Receivers just hanging on right at the sticks. Juggled screen passes that result in a first. There was also Rozeboom just mishandling a gift fumble. Also, no argument, the 4th quarter drives were rough. But again, it goes back to what could have been done differently. We tried lining up Jaycee one on one and Olave burned him. Contrast that with today’s game. The players have to execute the plan.
  10. Yep, you can’t grade every player on the field live. Hell, you can’t even see every player on the broadcast.
  11. The Bears and the 49ers are now in the playoffs because of the Lions Loss
  12. Gibbs you beautiful beautiful man!!!!
  13. The difference in perception IMO also resides in the fact that many of these Panthers fans are more recent fans and haven't seen the best days of Delhomme and Newton. Those who have tend to be more realistic about the current trajectory. And at the end of the day this team is very up and down and has been all season. I mean this very nice and well needed win followed us being swept by the lowly Saints. Nothing wrong with glass half full or glass half empty until the team finishes the season strong and actually follows up a win with meeting or exceeding expectations the following week. That's what we are waiting to see.
  14. I assume it was personal then maybe. I think his kids are big fans too.
  15. Wow what a wild ending to the Detroit/Steelers Game
  16. Wow what an insane play by Goff if that actually stands
  17. And football is just a part of his sports/entertainment portfolio. If he cared about winning he’d have kept the grass field and not pushed for the Deshaun Watson trade.
  18. That makes it even worse. There's no chance they can review each play with enough angles to give accurate grades
  19. People can blast Evero every week, Leggette every week, defenders every week…..and it’s not hating the team. It’s wanting to get better. Bulk of the Bryce “hate” is simply knowing decisions are coming and have to be made……and we want the team to have a higher ceiling and be better.
  20. BY isn’t his QB and it still feels like the league is pass happy/friendly. I assume he will call the games true to himself and insist on his own guy eventually.
  21. Come on man you know that's not what this is. Its a cherry picked stat intending for trolling
  22. Cam Newton had off games. His footwork and his accuracy were maddening at times. But Cam Newton in his prime was never in danger of waking up one morning and being 5'9 185 pounds. I like most people here just want a franchise QB. I'll take whatever I can get. If Bryce somehow by miracle becomes the guy so be it I'm on board. But he isn't one morning going to wake up 5 inches taller and more muscular. He is always going to be working from a disadvantage from a physical standpoint. And as long as that exists in some capacity it is going to be more challenging to consistently win with him let alone get up and over the playoff hump. These are just realities that have to be grappled with.
