  1. Past hour
  2. He doesnt have to sell the team right now. Just get out of the office other than the annual Christmas party. Hire a president of operations, collect his dividends from the NFL, and go do whatever else, then sell the Panthers at some point for 10x what he paid for it.
  3. He’ll get traded to a QB needy team mid-season for a 5th rounder and like a 7th. He’ll end up starting a couple of weeks later. Play like ass but the defense will win the game and then he will lose the rest of his games. He’ll sign with somebody in the offseason to compete for the job. Lose the competition, sit around until they get benched, fill in and do horribly. Then get released at the end of 2026 and sign to be the back up behind an established starter and we won’t hear from him again until somebody says his name and we go to his Wikipedia page and learn he retired.
  4. Make him finish year 2 but I have seen nothing to justify a year 3. On to the next mistake I guess
  5. Brady Quinn isn't someone I would rely on for expert advice either.
  6. I wish people would actually go back and watch his college games knowing what they know now. Myself and plenty others on here pointed out some glaring talent deficiencies and laid out why his playing style was unlikely to translate to the NFL given his skill set. Go back and watch Bryce throwing to wide open receivers. Watch him immediately backpedal 10 yards behind the LOS after every snap to gain depth to see over the scrum and stand square to the line forcing him to reset his feet and flip his hips to actually deliver the ball once he finds what he wants. None of it was going to work at the NFL level. Now I will say that even as a loud Bryce dissenter from the get go even i am shocked at how bad it's been. I didn't think he was ever going to be a franchise starter but I honestly never anticipated that he would be THIS bad either.
  7. The only thing that gets Teppers attention is a sign. Put signs in your yard and he will stop by and you can give him an ear full.
  8. Yup. He was never worth half of what he is being paid and a rookie looks to be an improvement even with a learning curve.
  9. Oh, I am well aware. That's why him having Mendoza at #5 and not #1 is a sigh of relief. Going back to Mateer, Brady Quinn put him on Mel's radar, so it's not exactly the kiss of death he's ranked so high.
  10. Star is pushing it. But he will be a decent starter for another team while they bridge getting their rookie franchise guy ready. It’s just the Panther way. But he’s done here.
  11. I’d love to have Tomlin, it’s too bad our owner was one of the minority owners who wanted Tomlin gone when he was with the Steelers (allegedly). It’s unfortunately amusing to me that Tepper made the wrong decision there too, everything he does, besides the logo at midfield is bad (excluding community outreach, him and the Mrs have been outstanding at that).
  12. Oof that picture. Cannot fathom anyone in the decision making process thought this was going to be a rousing success.
  13. A room full of 28 year old CS majors who can’t figure out why the team isn’t 3-1 look at these spreadsheets!!
  14. I tried to tell folks that Moehrig was just an undersized LB. Honestly, I'd tell him to gain 25 pounds this off-season and do exactly that - play him at LB.
  15. Tepper on outlook right now about to set up that Monday reoccurring meeting
  16. Well he is on the hot seat....not my fault if he won't move himself
  17. Seriously Was there literally a soul on this board that was in favor of Corbett being handed the Center job? Corbett was god awful this year. Mays is immediately noticeably better. Literally to no one’s surprise minus this coaching staffs
  18. As for PFF, the Carolina Panthers building an entire analytics department of guys poached from PFF and then fielding this roster, I mean...
  19. it means you got to make a quick decision while positioned behind the massive OL/DLs. Bryce needs to drop further to see clearly
  20. Scourton could probably convert as an OLB. Princely might be able to go to 4-3 DE. Biggest issue would be lack of LBs and no true MLB.
  21. We don't have good 3-4 personnel either. It's a rebuild either way.
  22. I don't view physical traits as the number one thing to start with. How they play against the best competition in college weighs more than anything. Then you look at the physical attributes that will help them succeed at the next level. Thats where Young should have been removed from our board. Its like reading applications before you decide who to interview. If the basic qualifications (great production against tough competition) are met then you weed out those that do meet other criteria (height, weight, arm strength) for success going forward.
