  1. Past hour
  2. I don't think there is a "probably." The NFC South is about a 99.9% likelihood of being a 1 team playoff division. Not statistically, logically.
  3. I said a few days ago that I was starting to think that Kon was the teams best player and probably the best option to build around that the Hornets have left.
  4. Him being gone next year is a possibility if the franchise deems he is beyond repair and they attempt to garner some sort od return assets. I don't view this as very likely at all. The remaining games will determine his 5th year option, IMO. Even if we are lukewarm on him, we are likely to keep him on the roster next year.
  5. Yeah I'm pretty sure he asked for a trade last night. So he's likely out.
  6. I mean...the short answer is many. He is squarely a bottom 10% starter or top third of the pack #2 QB statistically. We all hope that changes but the career speaks for itself. He has been dramatically below NFL average.
  7. Part of the game when you're pretty much always either 1-9, 1-10, 2-8, or 3-8 at this point.
  8. This is about as incorrect as possible. Are you familiar with his career SO stats?
  9. Yeah, I mean he was not special in very, very, VERY favorable circumstances in college and he has not really looked like anything more than a JAG here. It's possible that changes but it's not really important as a lower round pick. If he becomes a competent returner then the pick was worthwhile.
  10. I changed it to better help the stans, I mean 22 yards is a big help when talking about BY passing yards.. How would you say leading up the the final drive has he played in 80% of those games? I wonder why we don't throw the ball much more, its very perplexing ...........
  11. Everyone can hate all they want, but Bryce will be here next year. The draft isn't good enough to go after anyone and I don't know of any QB that will be available that will turn the Panthers in a playoff contender. Do not be surprised when they sign him to his 5th year option.
  12. I liked Cam Newton. I wish his career wasn’t cut short cause he had potential to be a Hall of Famer.
  13. Black helmet, white jersey, black pants, socks and shoes would have been cool
  14. At his best he's still not top 12, that's another problem of all this BY talk.... His normal and averages out, 22-28 I feel is fair to the BY stans and haters. Again this is 2.7 years into this career, if your best isn't enough and your normal is bottom 8%, like what are we talking about here?? Imagine the numbers of many of QBs that haven't been given 2.7 years of starter, I feel 95% could at least be as bad as BY or better. Fields and Lawrence are about the only QB that have enough starts and you could make a decent case they are worse.
  15. The guy said 78 yards not 100. How many of those games did he have over 30 attempts? We do not throw the ball much so no poo he isn’t throwing for 270 yards a game.
  16. Paying coaches doesn’t impact cap and ability to compete. Paying players does. to me, the one positive of an uber wealthy owner wanting to spend….is in theory he could throw money at coaches
  17. I mean, you see the games on the first page right? 167, 235, 171, 121, 103 etc etc. Am I a tad small? I guess if we are needing perfection, but hey this is a BY thread....... Id say in the majority he does have around 100 yards for 55 minutes, does that help? Just like the numbers they reflect hes playd very poor in nearly 85% of those game leading into the final minutes. I will also give this, he could had more GWDs if not for the defense choking. I feel this is sooooo very clear to people that watch the games. Even the pure only 100% BY fans or his relatives should be able to see this as well.

  19. you always push in to the weird position of defending people I dont really like, but you don’t know any employee is a bad fit until it plays out. A lot of folks here were excited when Rhule was hired. He’s clearly good at selling himself, he keeps landing head‑coaching jobs. We also don’t know that Tepper was the driving force behind picking Bryce. The general feeling at the time is that he was the best player, The Teppers part is mostly rumor we’ve treated like fact. And it was 3–4 years ago. Most of us have changed our minds on Bryce like ten times since. Lastly I don’t think he’s calling the shots anymore. He seems looped in, not leading. I worked for the Panthers for about eight months, and I almost never saw him in the office. Dan Morgan and Brandt were there every day. That’s anecdotal, not proof but it suggests Dan is doing most of the work. if you asked me today if the Panthers are going to pay Bryce, I dont see it. He has not played well enough to heavily invest in him.
  20. They weren't even high danger either..... expected goals allowed by the canes just 1.2
  21. Jarvis has some pretty nasty shootout goals in his career actually
  22. Well there's a couple issues with that. He handed Matt Rhule generational wealth over some meatballs. Then he was a driving force in pushing for us to trade up to #1 in 2023 and obviously for selecting Bryce Young. The problem with Tepper isn't that he doesn't know what a bad deal is the problem is his ego is the size of Texas and he refuses to acknowledge that he is completely out of his depth. Nothing that has transpired as of late has given an indication that he has learned much if anything from these debacles. We'll see though.
