  1. Past hour
  2. If the trend continues you trade him in the offseason and then draft another qb in april.
  3. There are only 3 options for bryce/panthers after this season 1. Extend him 2. Pick up the 5th year option basically tying him to the team for 2 more years 3. Trade him Bryce has run out of runway.
  4. Most of us see it, Bryce Young isn’t getting it done. Whether it’s the turnovers, the body language, or the lack of progress, it’s starting to feel like we’re watching a slow-motion bust unfold. So here’s the challenge: you’re Dan Morgan for the week. What’s your move? You’ve got: A locker room that’s losing confidence A fanbase that’s fed up ~$17M in cap space Draft picks A QB on a rookie deal who might not be the answer Do you ride it out and hope for a turnaround? Draft a new QB and start fresh? Bring in a vet to push Bryce? Blow it all up and rebuild? Let’s hear your plan—cap, morale, draft strategy, long-term vision.
  5. I mean, there’s only one other QB his height, so it’s a pretty small sample. He still can’t really access the middle.
  6. You know the play calling was terrible, yet again, but this thread makes me wonder if it is true, Canales doesn’t trust him and won’t open up the playbook because he don’t think BY can execute it. I mean, I can’t blame him, BY hasn’t shown that he can but it makes for super predictable calls that get us 3 and outs more times than not. I think Canalas needs to turn it loose, he can handle it or he can’t, sink or swim season. It feels like we threw the ball downfield a lot more when Dalton came in last season.
  7. Today
  8. Panthers were playing losing football well before BY arrived. The reasons why we had a top 5 pick still are not fixed.
  9. Bryce actually throws to the middle of the field more than most QBs around his height. For a guy who says he watches a lot of film I’m positive he doesn’t watch a lot of panthers film
  10. The defense is not great but it is possible to win games when your defense gives up 26 points, especially when they gave up like 9 points total over 3 quarters.
  11. We're not very good on either side of the ball. It's been a thing for a while now.
  12. 3 posts on Evero in the last 30 days? It’s pages and pages and pages and pages and pages of posts if you search up Evero in the last 30 days
  13. I didn’t bring up the Dalton win. Someone used it as an example of the D still be bad no matter what. But in reality, it is an example of them being less bad than they averaged on the year. Because it was a game with offense and possession of the ball. If there were more games like that the D likely isn’t historically bad and just bad. Just the math of keeping them off the field
  14. Well, sure they are a bad defense. but you brought up the one Dalton win. And it merely is an example of the most passing yards on the season (again it happens when Bryce isnt on the field on every season to date with a washed Dalton)…..and the D allowed less pts and yards than they averaged on the year. Offense keeps all variety of defenses, in our case bad, off the field. I don’t want Bryce to be Cam. I want him to at what bare bones behind the most expensive OL in the NFL….generate average offensive production
  15. I'm not saying the defense was great, but they held the Jaguars to 6 points in the second half. Yes they should have been better in the first half, but it isn't like the Panthers offense helped with their turnovers. If they got completely dunked on the entire game, then sure, it would be worth discussing more. But they stepped up in the second half. Can you say the same about the offense / Bryce Young?
  16. Can't wait for Panthers.com and Canales to say how great of practice this week is and how prepared everyone is just to lay an egg on Sunday. Cardinals won't forget last years loss to us, they will come out with more fire, urgency, and have revenge on their minds to blow out the Panthers.
  17. Are you responding from a Bryce Young family member burner account? Think about what we gave up for the rights to draft Bryce? Panthers could have drafted CJ Stroud, if we had a competent front office. Not only that that we lost the number 1 overall pick last season (potentially Jayden Daniels) AND the loss of DJ Moore. The last 4 seasons we have invested our 1st round picks on offensive players. While the defense sucks the investment still doesn’t come close to the resources put in the offense. We just scored 10 points against the 4 win Jaguars with the youngest coach in the league.
  18. This is why we need to draft football players and not physical freaks!!! I was advocating for Ladd McKonkey but Dan wanted someone who can run fast. Running a sub 40 time is a God given talent, but sometimes you really can't teach football to people.
  19. XL is trash. Worst WR I've seen since at least Dwayne Jarrett.
  20. Reminds me of Bryce's rookie year. Jonathan Vilma was calling the game and he said on live TV, something along the lines of, "Bryce wants to show off that big arm of his."
  21. some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch The Huddle burn
