Oh yeah, QB and I'm going to be sitting there pondering if Bryce gets another chance or if we sit him on the bench as a back-up QB or trade bait for SF or Minnesota.

I did a quick trade calculator and to jump from 19 to 17 (I was wondering what it would take to jump the Vikes) we'd need to give up at least 119. That's a perfect spot to improve our o-line, upgrade TE (Joly), nickel, etc. That's an expensive trade for a FS. Gotta just hope Minnesota skips Thieneman. As @Bear Handspointed out, they have no shortage of needs.

If we can grab one of those top Safeties in the draft, then I'll be happy. If we grab the top TE, well, I'll be happy. If we go crazy and take Rodriguez way out of line (possibly after trading down a few spots) I'll be deliriously happy. If we grab another WR, I'm going to be a bit flummoxed. OT, yeah, I can be satisfied with that. Edge, I'd be scratching my head. DT, he'd better be the best out there. CB, I'd be wondering why not later with so many decent but not great options out there. Punter and I'm throwing the remote through the TV set.

The Thieneman to Minny thing is this locked in stone thing for so many bc of the Harrison Smith parallels but their DL needs major help. McDonald is hugely in play for them. And DB too if Hood or some are saying they’re highly preferential to Chris Johnson (sneaky 1st rounder). This draft could have plenty of surprises and it’s not hard to see DT falling to us.

Wow I didn’t know about YPRR. Apparently it’s a very good indicator of a WR being successful or not. Only a few of those WR have shown a flash of success. Brian Thomas had a great rookie year but was bad last year. Golden flashed in the second half of last year but I also think it could be misleading with YPRR cause he’s a YAC receiver.

Definitely. Texans, LAC, PHI (big candidate), there's some real possibilities.

Would be perfect IMO, but can't imagine we get that lucky. As shallow as this draft is, big fan of trading later picks and moving up to get our guys if possible, though.

But regardless, you feel WR is the goal for round 1? I think if one of those three that you mentioned is there, then I could see them being the pick, if not, I really think it is a lineman. OT or DT.

I could absolutely see teams that drafted tackles trade up for them. It's a strong class.
