  1. Past hour
  2. Shough was 22/27 for 333 yards (12.3 ypa) with 2 tds, a 142.7 rating, and a 81.9 QBR. Still not enough to get OROTY but he's now got 2125 yards on the season, pretty impressive.
  3. If you’re gonna make a project out of developing a QB why not start with better physical attributes. Bryce is really holding the team back. What progress he has made still doesn’t rise to average play. Also the whole game winning drives narrative is tiring. It just means we’re literally always trailing. Good teams get leads and keep them, every drive that provides a winning margin is a game winning drive regardless of when.
  4. Lol, very nice! Back when Julius Peppers was hitting his stride and Smitty was becoming THAT guy! Panthers defense was elite during the Fox era. Had Rucker opposite of Peppers, Kris Jenkins, Minter, and of course Dan Morgan. I didn't start paying for monthly Internet until around that time. Became a huddle member around 2012 or 2013. Very nice memory!
  5. He can big time throw and gwd. Whatever that means
  6. watchin these 2 qbs play tonight and all i can think is why cant the panthers have even a decent qb. purdy last pic in the draft and top 10 qb and williams first pic and looks nothing at all like byoung .
  7. Quinn Ewers had a -0.7 CPOE today Bryce had a +4.9 CPOE last week against TB
  8. If he's in the pocket, he can't often see the 2nd or 3rd read. He needs to bail to find the sight lines. But problem is he takes the wrong path and needs to immediately commit to a scramble.
  9. Ahh, what a nice walk down memory lane. Back when we expected the Panthers to win games. Not surprised.
  10. Exactly. The check downs Bryce throws constantly is never supposed to be the 1st read… No coach designs a play for a RB running a swing route as the first read. Bryce doesn’t give the #1, #2 and def not the #3 routes any time to come open. He just bails after a quick glance because he’s either afraid to get hit or has no confidence in himself to make a tight window throw.
  11. Clausen was bad but he didn't play scared, just spectacularly terrible.
  12. Quinn f*cking Ewers just played the same defense Bryce recently did and looked way more comfortable, under duress and found guys quickly. Made smart decisions, no BS. We can find better in the 4th round come May.
  13. I'm pretty sure I remember Jimmy trying to throw a ball away out of bounds and couldn't even get it out of bounds and it was intercepted. He still had a better arm than Bryce does. I'd say Bryce overall is a better QB than pickles was but the stat lines Bryce puts up every other game make me want to puke. At least clausen was bad every game that's better than the occasional really good game imo
  14. Some psycho: Bryce Young is a good QB Logical people:
  15. 08 site crash..... I think i joined in 04 when it was panthershuddle I came here because they shut down the scout boards.... I mean dial up internet and the nfl website looking like this heck I remember reading this cover article during the pre season lol.
  16. well the Panthers can't have nice things just a few years ago they had RB CMac, WR DJ Moore , Qb Sam Darnold , LB Frankie LuVu , edge Brian Burns all on the same team & with the help of Dan Morgan & David Tepper they somehow managed to get rid of most of all of their good players & draft their replacements with players such as # 1 overall Qb Bryce Young , 1st round WR Xavier Legette, 2nd round edge DJ Johnson , 2nd round RB Jonathan Brooks &3rd round LB Trevin Wallace i guess it just goes to show u cannot fix stupid
  17. These are semantics. We see teams take out starters all the time in run away games. It's not a new thing. We lost our starting TE on the first play from scrimmage, then a special teams player. By this time of year I think it's fair to say the kids have earned their money. And it makes sense not to have unnecessary risk at the end of a game that has clearly been decided already, especially considering the magnitude of next week's game on the road. I get your point, but at the same time... this isn't what was to take from this game.
  18. It's hard to say. In 2010, the defense was far worse than today. On offense, the line was signifìcantly worse, the backs much better, tight ends were worse and the receivers were a wash. Then, the biggest x factor, in his only season as a starter, Jimmy had a petty, lame duck head coach who had told his entire coaching staff in the offseason to get off the sinking ship if they could. The only reason John Fox didn't actively sabotage the team that year is that he couldn't be bothered to. All that said, I don't really know if Clausen was ever THIS bad. It's a tight race.
  19. Without really being specific, panthers just need a QB, vet WR, LB and to resign Dowdle to be a threat. That’s not bad at all but unfortunately QB need is huge and hard to achieve. However, there will undoubtedly be a better option than Bryce available. Getting Tepper to let go of Young is going to be a big challenge for Canales, which is silly of course since he has a lifetime of football knowledge and Tepper has zero.
  20. It feels like whoever wins this division will somehow manage to do it with a losing record even if they win next week.
  21. Bryce can make better use of a nugget couch than an NFL offense.
