  1. Past hour
  2. Dude you're all over the place. Bryce definitely played better than average down the stretch last year. That's what I said. I dont think it's controversial, and I think it's true based both on stats and by actually watching him play. He was the 6th rated passer by PFF during the last 8 weeks. In no world is that below average You trying to twist this into something else is a you thing. Have a great night

  4. Exactly He's played two seasons and started 28 games. He's well beyond the point of being able to point to 2 or 3 games and being able to say, "THAT is the QB he is and will be in the future" Of course he can get there, but anyone trying to use just those couple of games to rank his place amongst the games QB's today and their full career's worth of playing at that level, is just asinine. Mahomes, Allen, Lamar, Burrow, Hurts, Herbert, Daniels, Stafford, Goff, Geno, Purdy, Baker, Love, Dak, Tua, Kyler, Lawrence That's 17 QB's right there that have played better over their careers than Bryce has played at his best. And I'm not saying they're all studs or guys I'd want to be our QB moving forward, Tua for example I wouldn't touch with a 10 foot pole, but his body of work is a million times better than Bryce's has been. It's also not including any of the other QB's drafted in 2023/2024 other than Daniels. So again, say you believe in Bryce, say you think he's going to prove he can and should be our QB of the future, that's all fair and totally fine. But nobody can say he's been an above average QB in his career thus far, it's just an asinine notion.
  5. I'd think we could get one of those from Dallas for... whatever.
  6. I don't really like the idea of adding Marner to a team that's only had issues in the playoffs. But no issues with the general idea.
  7. He is also a player that has that "lock room cancer" tag. We don't see much of the full picture, but I try to stay far away from that type of player. He is historically not good at losing, and we tend to do that a good bit. Not a good fit in my opinion. I respect the skill, though.
  8. I honestly can't think of a teams first line basically telling the coach to fug off like last night's line of Aho, Jarvis and Svechnikov did to Rod.
  9. Do you even know what the term "below average" means? Because I'm genuinely not sure if you do. There are 32 QB's in the league, which means to be playing "above average" he'd have to be the 15th best QB at the league, and even then, that's in essence the "average NFL QB" still. Even going by these rankings, which have him 20th, that by itself is the definition of "below average", and that's before you consider there are multiple QB's ranked below him in this list that I'd 100% trade him for in a heartbeat. Again, no matter what you think the eye test tells you, he's made 28 starts and has a grand total of FOUR games over 247 yards. Drake Maye has made 10 starts, all with a significantly worse group of pass catchers than Bryce has had, and he already has 3 games over that number himself. I don't need to see or know anything else beyond that to determine he is a below average QB in this league so far and I don't know how anyone can honestly argue against that. If he was a Lamar Jackson type putting up 75+ yards rushing on a consistent basis, then you can look at those passing yards differently, but that's not the case here. Could he still improve and get to average or better? Of course. But you're trying to extrapolate a few throws/drives/moments from a handful of games and trying to say that makes him even an average, if not above average, QB in this league. Which is just nonsense when the players you're comparing him to have played at that level for full seasons or their entire careers.
  10. My meds from the stone removal, so if I get extra grouchy. Ya know.
  11. Who says no to the following. Trade KK and Morrow for a draft pick of some sort. Sign the following: Bennett 8m AAV Ekblad 8m AAV Boeser 7.5m AAV Marner 13m AAV Cap numbers work after the trade of KK and Morrow.
  12. This board, me included, was beating the drums for both Humphrey and Frazier. I honestly think this board would draft better than the actual team after the first round, like if we had a consensus poll everytime we picked. Panthers wasting shitloads of money on scouting
  13. If you start the season 6-0 and the offense is awesome and you are feeling good...maybe. Not a pre-season trade to make.
  14. I hope some of Horns technique and skill rubs off on Mike Jackson now that he has a full offseason in our defensive system.
  15. Went back and watched today and I now know why Rod broke the lines up. Svechnikov, Aho and Jarvis stopped running Rod's system after it got to 2-0 and that's why he stormed off the Bench.
  16. I had a few kidney stones removed this morning and I'm peeing blood and in pain that meds won't touch and watching last night's game hurt worse physically.
  17. Yep checked with my friends that are season ticket holders and they have like 10 seats between the 3 sets of families and they not coming back either. Rod will have to go or it will kill the teams momentum with fans.
  18. This….x1000. We have arrived and are tired of just participating. The days of referencing the dark days of 2010-18 are done. It’s all about next steps and if we have the right guy leading us.
  19. It depends on the plan that Morgan/Canales have. If they're looking to build still, I can see them leaning into the young guys like with what they're doing at WR. If they're trying to take the training wheels off now and push for the division, then make the trade. I don't think that's the plan though... I think they look at how the team develops over the course of this season and then makes any big time moves based on those results.
  20. In the hospital waiting on neck surgery. My eyes burn way more from watching our level of play than the nerves in my arms do from my injury.
  21. They really shouldn't be. We don't have a starting caliber nickel. And one injury to Jaycee or Mike Jackson would derail everything.
  22. I have seen that look in our players before 2009 ECF against Pittsburgh 2023 ECF against Florida
  23. You should see what Canadian fans do to there teams that lose Leafs fans not only bood, but throwed thier $300 jerseys on the ice The fanbase is obviously grown has hockey fans, and are no longer satisfied with just being there
  24. Completely disagree on your Mike Jackson assessment. There are a ton of guys that play in the slot that are great matchups for him... especially now that the tight end is essentially a third receiver. He also is solid in run support and would hugely improve our run defense playing in the nickel.
