  1. Past hour
  2. One vet, one firat or second round pick, and one later round pick. Dalton released, Bryce dealt. Time to throw darts.
  3. I saw the list, agree Minshew would be on the list of possible guys as well as the rest of the list. Mac Jones would probably be the highest possible target though that would require a trade. All that said, heres a darkhorse that I wouldnt be surprised...Carson Wentz. I know he looked rough his last time out, however he was clearly pretty dangerously injured and kept playing through it. When he was healthy in Minnesota he looked pretty fricken good. Last full season he started he threw for 3500, 27td, 7 INT. He did start the next season for a washington team running a scheme that does not fit him. I think the things that Canales is looking for his QB to do, that Wentz does well. Wentz however with his age would not be any kind of long term solution, a decent backup but more like actual competition would be needed to go into the season.
  4. This reads as someone trying to suggest changes while treading lightly so Daddy Tepper doesn’t come down too hard on them. Because flatly, the problem is Bryce. I don’t think Canales is a perfect coach, but you can see the limitations in what can be called, what is called, and the amount of times Bryce fugs up plays all by himself. Someone brought up the bootlegs being useless because there is always a free defender rushing - think about how different that play looks with a 6’2”+ QB with a strong arm and mobility. I can’t count the number of times Bryce has thrown and missed bc he can’t see, it gets deflected, he chucks it away, or his patented run and fumble just on bootlegs and roll outs. By percentage of those plays per player I have ever watched, Bryce has more negative plays WITHOUT A fuging DOUBT than anyone I have ever watched before. Like an uncanny ability to fug up the simplest of things. I have never seen anything like it. And then, as I mentioned in the other thread, when you string those seemingly one-off plays together, and those stack over the course of a game, poo looks really disjointed. It is Bryce. Enough of this nebulous ass “something’s afoot!” bullshit.
  5. I would look at Sam Howell before Gino Smith. I think he got a raw deal in Washington. New coach wanted “his quarterback.” I may be wrong, but he would be my choice of the quarterbacks who would be available and out of contract after this season. He may be available for whatever pay Dalton.
  6. You know what killed it for me... That second sack. The defender just grabbed him by the collar barely and threw him down like he was a child misbehaving
  7. Under no circumstances should he play this week. I think we have a a bye after we get crushed by the Rams this Sunday. He needs 2 weeks minimum after an injury like that. As someone stated earlier, it might not even be a bad idea to shut him down for the season if he's having difficulties after the bye week.
  8. The best change would be in the ownership department. You make a lot of valid points, and I agree with you. I just think Tepper was more behind Bryce than the others
  9. From JoeBucs Fan. Not a vote of confidence for their team, but little do they know, we aren't going to catch them.
  10. By the 3rd quarter I expect the Rams to be raffling series at QB to their fans in the stands and Stafford to be on a charter back to LA
  11. Do not do this. This is the NFL. Rams could easily just sleepwalk cross country and play down to an inferior team and still comfortably win by 7 (that isn't as close as the final score says)
  12. From the looks of it at least Moehrig was doing something to try and slow that offense down
  13. New one's up. It's a longer one. Tough one to do, hopefully it turned out well.
  14. These soft ass criticisms of little baby dookie shoes is laughable. Bryce sux asshole, deal with it.
  15. I think Geno fits. Not that I want that. They got history. He fits the scheme. It's why he worked in Seattle and only Seattle. I also don't think Canales is some QB guru. I think the NFL is about fit. He coached in places where the QBs fit the scheme. He doesn't now. I've been hammering the fit mantra since the day we drafted Bryce. He has never fit anything we have done. He doesn't fit much. And you aren't making him fit and work in Frank's or Dave's O.
  16. That 0-5 streak of yours after proclaiming to always bet against the Panthers covering last year was impressive.
  17. He usually got bad takes, but asks the question "how many coaches you going to fire because of Bryce."
  18. I just don't understand it. After being one of the defensive bright spots last week, how do you turn around and do something so bone-headed this week? Honestly, suspension or not, I wonder if that's a cut-able offense.
  19. Smarter move between the two. Smarter round to make that choice too. Ultimately, drafting project players that high is never a good idea.
