  1. Past hour
  2. Dyslexia strikes again. Bryce was a 17.
  3. I get the moves that Morgan has made. He inherited a team that would not win the NCAA Championship. Canales? Too soon, if you ask me, but I was questioning his ability to prepare and lead the teaching of fundamentals when I say XL not blocking, not dragging his feet--his center firing high heat to a 5'9" QB all day--a QB throwing it away on fourth and goal--and then there is the preseason question--his decision to rest his seasoned starters ????
  4. We don't have the personnel to field a strong front 7 in a 3-4 defense. They need to transition to a 4-3, but I don't think Tepper would allow it. DB would thrive in a 4-3 as a NT if he had at least one legit pass rusher on the line with him.
  5. didn't the MISC body building forum get shut down?
  6. We just drafted most of a draft class based on this crap. Might just be Tet in the end. Some of those grades are mind boggling
  7. That fourth down play was one of the worst I've ever seen a QB make in game given the situation. Even worse than that PJ walker INT in the endzone years back against detroit
  8. After Corbett, Bryce was THE worst player on the field yesterday. And they have him at 71 and 3rd best on offense?? Must be the same guy that credited him with all those “big time throws” he led the league in after coming back from his benching.
  9. Last point, does anyone actually trust Tepper to hire a competent GM and HC next go around? Because I sure as fug don't
  10. Scouton was out there in the second half and looked lost. He was getting washed out in the line and ran into the backs of the dline taking himself out of the play. He missed a lot of tackles. Princely looked even worse. Everos defense is not helping them.
  11. But again as I stated in the other thread, other than JJ Jansen, the only constant since Tepper bought the team has been Tepper himself. We have an ownership problem. Almost every single one of this team's issues can be traced back to David Tepper.
  12. My deceased father was an All-ACC End and he raised me teaching me football--I never realized how he changed my understanding of the game--however, one thing he said that I will never forget: The measure of a good NFL QB is this: "If your team is down by 6 or fewer points in the fourth quarter but has the ball with under two minutes and with 2 timeouts, are you favored to win? Can he put the team on his back and drive the field for a TD more than 50% of the time?" If we are down 14-20 and have the ball on our own 20 with 2 timeouts--does Bryce win the game more than 50% of the time? (It rarely happens). If not, there is no reason to keep him around. If he gets hot and we win a few games, he will want major $$$. While I am not blaming him, I do not see that Alpha at QB. Sorry. He has improved, but do we have that Alpha dawg in the huddle when the game is on the line? That 4th down pass in the end zone tells us what he is--unfortunately.
  13. Lol Curry was an elite shooter the moment he stepped into the big leagues, dude wasn't out there shooting 15% from three. Accuracy is 100% coachable, its the physical talent that cant be coached lol. Josh Allen completed 52% of his passes for 10 tds and 12 ints as a rookie.... Improving from that to what he is now is NOT NATURAL talent it is work.... Arm strength is natural, Size is natural, speed ect..... ACCURACY and passing are not NATURAL abilities beyond the aforementioned natural elements..... its a dedication to a craft.
  14. In all fairness, so is what we saw on the field again yesterday. It matters.
  15. After yesterday I think it's indisputable that Canales is part of the problem- how much of the problem is hard to tease out. Ultimately in my heart of hearts I just feel like Canales + Bryce is not a potent enough duo to succeed in this league. Canales + Josh allen? That might work. Or Kyle Shannahan + Bryce? yea that might be ok. But together they are underwhelming. I'm holding judgement on Morgan for the time being. He had a LOT of damage to undo when he got here and thus far has done ok, though I will admit the XL pick looking worse and worse by the day particularly when Ladd was sitting right there
  16. I know I’ve got to move on, but Stroud was right there for the taking. Right there. I don’t get how Bryce could’ve gotten away without throwing at the combine. Bro is 5’10 and weighs between 170 and 180 lbs. Yea, I need to see you throw, my guy.
  17. I'll be honest, with how bad we looked and paying more attention to my Fantasy matchup thanks to the delay (and how bad we looked), I wasn't paying the most attention when we were on defense. But I did see Princely out there a decent amount, but I don't remember seeing Scourton out there even one time. Was wondering if I just didn't see him given my minimal attention when on defense, or if maybe he didn't play with him still coming back from the injury and getting into game shape.
  18. At this point how can you trust either one? Canales is a Carroll clone who seems to let players police themselves and is basically Pete without the gum and talent. Dan is respected around the League, I thought he would be a good hire. I don’t know whether to blame Dan or Dave or both. I know one thing, Tepper is the only constant and his era as owner of this team is freaking terrible.
  19. The giveaway was putting on his college tape, sitting in front of the screen with my eyes open, and watching what I'm seeing in front of me.
  20. Sanders was open but he wasn't tall enough to get it there with 2 big boys occupying space in between. It's not always that size matters but a 6'2"+ guy would have had a chance and Cam would have gunned it or ran for a first. Just admit the obvious that his limitations are pretty big and not just his size.
  21. If that wasn't a throw away but an actual pass attempt, then he should be cut right now, not tomorrow, not even just "today" but right this very second.
  22. The record doesn't matter in preseason. It really doesn't matter whose camp bodies win out on the scoreboard. But the eye test certainly matters, especially when you're a bad team. If you're a good team you can kinda brush it off. But a bad team needing to change course and develop confidence? Going out there and having your starters and primary backups looking like unwashed ass is a big red flag.
  23. The drafts are really not looking good. XL obviously had a bad game. Jonathan Brooks is still in the garage until his 3rd season. And check out this interesting play by Trevin Wallace.
  24. From what people have been saying, and I agree with them. Is that he was so good towards the end because there was no pressure to win. We were already out of the playoffs so everything was just icing on the cake. Now with a new season and “expectations” his mental fortitude sucks. He just doesnt have what it takes to make the tough and good decisions in critical moments of a game.
