I mean, I don't know what you're seeing or reading, but I've heard (not read) several analysts say that Concepcion plays stronger than his size. Like I said, you've got it twisted apparently. Keep in mind that these are only a few. The dude is as tough as nails from what I've been looking at. "Concepcion is a very dynamic runner after the catch who shows impressive vision, can make defenders miss in a phone booth and shows good competitiveness to finish his rushes. His role as a rusher hasnβt been as prominent recently, but received a lot of carries as a freshman. Gives pretty good effort when stalking opponents in the run game, with a physical temperament and better functional strength than expected." https://www.fantasypros.com/2026/01/2026-nfl-draft-scouting-report-kc-concepcion-wr-texas-am/ "Play strength is better than youβd expect given his size, a little bit stockier and stronger than this type of receiver typically is" https://jonledyard.substack.com/p/2026-nfl-draft-scouting-report-texas-eae Strong Hands and Competitive Toughness "Despite not being the biggest receiver, Concepcion attacks the football, finishes through contact, and plays with noticeable intensity. Heβs reliable on contested catches and tough over the middle." https://www.draftnation.com/articles/2026-nfl-prospect-profile-texas-am-wide-receiver-kc-concepcion

That's the new reality of college sports. There's really not much of a reason for guys with eligibilityvremaining not entering the portal with the option to return. Especially with a coaching change and not knowing how you'll fit into his plans. Throw your name out there and see if there's a better offer.

This reeks of desperation. I hope I am wrong but Malone has 0 experience with the portal and NIL deals.
-
We're all Spurs, Knicks and Pistons fans tonight
-
Yeah let's go Spurs?
-
Nice. You could still play him, but give them bottom third pair of Minutes and bump boom and ghost back up. The question is if he is shitting the bed so bad in the playoffs does Rod bench him? For the record Iβm rooting for Miller to be all world, but my eyes donβt lie to me and the poo I watch out there.

Looks like the whole team is entering the portal haha

I'm going to cling to the hope that it'll be Dillon Thienemen until A.) someone ahead us drafts him or B.) Goodell walks up to the podium and its not his name called.
-
Yeah I had over 2.5 on that one lol. Only down 10 dollars after my big day Saturday if my baseball bet doesn't hit. May do like a 4 leg points parlay at +100 odds

I donated $300 to my book on the AC Milan over today. On this tonight.

2025 Draft Re-Grades (Or, One Idiot Doubles Down)
mav1234 replied to Joe Bear's topic in Carolina Panthers
So a pile of crap that hasn't been set on fire ... Yet. I remember Walter football buying the insane pre draft Cam stuff, heh. -
We're not on opposite sides of the deal. I was willing to give him a season to get this figured out and... he hasn't figured it out. And the Canes are going into the playoffs with a defensive liability on their hands. And it's not like you can healthy scratch a $7.5M D-man for Legault or Nystrom without telling the world your GM made an expensive mistake. I'd almost rather see Reilly at this point. He's was playing much better filling in when Ghost was down.

I don't know what to think to be honest. Not excited, not crushed, just well we'll see.

Dave Canales: the next rockstar head coach
HeelsPanthersCanes replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Dave Canales, model looks AND brains. Will never win more than 8 games with him. -
Yea, you've got it a little backwards. Jokic basically started coaching the team during timeouts while Malone was there, and told the front office to boot him. I don't know what the real issue was, but there was an issue. To your point, it's a new start, so I'm not overly concerned with what went wrong in Denver. I'm more concerned with what recruiting and portal looks like with a guy who has zero knowledge of either.

Going to try an mlb parlay tonight. Got robbed off a soccer one earlier. Toe poke to the keeper should count as a shot on goal of if it's going in no matter how weak an effort

I want something else, but I've got to say I think we grab an OT in the first. We are looking at future issues at OT on both sides of the line after this season (and that's IF there are no further injuries). If Icky can come back, he's going to be somewhat expensive. Moton is winding down his career (and I hate to see him go, but his cost vs value curve is tightening up about as fast as his sciatica is on Monday mornings). In a perfect world, we grab the best OT available and let him learn behind Rasheed Walker, Moton and the rest of our experienced linemen. If Icky comes back next year or late this season, that's great. If not, and Walker proves to be too expensive, we have our guy in place. If Icky does come back, we slide the guy to OT and move ahead, with five years of reasonable costs for OT. If I had my drothers, though, I want a TE or MLB right off the bat, the best one available. Just not another WR. We need to let our current trio cook a bit more. I'm not completely given up on XL. Third season tells the tale on WRs and he deserves at least that. Plus, on first rounders, grab someone who is involved in either every offensive or defensive play. Get the mileage guys here.
