Put him in the sub LB spot and he will be at lb on passing sets. Panthers a 3-4 team he should not be at lb all times with Shaq and Luvu at ilb and he not a OLB. Also Madden has Mingo and this new guy as the same speed.

I have always heard practice like you play. Every time I have seem practice they all moving in slow motion the whole way thur I know you have to install but even there OFF vs DEF that I have seen be 1/2 speed a lot.

Hope he improves over the next few weeks, but it was really really bad giving up 2 big hits on Young on back to back plays to Thibodeaux. One he just didn't block him at all and passed him off to no one, the very next play he didn't even stick his arms out at all to block him and he just ran around him ending the drive.

So the Panthers play the Lions Oct 8th how does this work? Do many teams play preseason and then again? How much will they even want to show knowing they play for real later.

The problem with preseason is some guys go hard some don't and you just don't know who is who. If I was a for sure starter I would be just trying to make it to the season where my efforts count. Its good to get out there and run a little but no need to go all out.

The OL have the same players but different calls and style of play from last year so it's not going to be all smooth up front. Everyone is learning a new system so things will take some time.

Let's see new HC, QBs a rookie,2 new WRs, new TE, new RB. Whole new everything on OFF first time all playing in a game together, what could go wrong? New DEF also looked like they had a few missed coverage, also first time it should get better when guys learn what the have to do more.

If the Panthers are going to play Matt at QB most the game they really should get him some time in practice in 11 on 11. He only getting a few reps in practice, it's like 85% BY, 10% AD, 5% MC from what I have heard. We was still in it early but the game looked fast to MC he still may as well be a rookie.

Was watching a video break down of CJ it showed he wasn't as bad as he looked most times, just when he do get beat it's a big play and looks really bad. Pretty much if he was close and can bump and just read the WR he is good, but when he play off of 10yrs or more he looks at the QB to long and will lose him WR then end up getting beat. Hope the new staff can work on it and he becomes more consistent because he can make plays.

Hey, this guy can catch like a WR, block the bliz well, we can hand it off the get tough yards and hand it to him to keep the D guessing. He can really help my team but let's under pay him "cuz he a RB" Not all RB should get top $ but to under pay a guy that can do it all is dumb. But lets give even ok QB 20+ a year

The NFL got so big because everyone with a TV could tune in on Sun and a game was on. The more they take games off over air tv the less people will care. I stopped with the NBA years ago because they moved to cable with there games now I care about the NBA 0%. Have not seen MNF or TNF in over 2years and it gets easier and easier to miss. Less people watch this game and they can't sell advertising if no one is watching, hope they don't forget what made the NFL great.

PS5 a guy did all the draft picks. And all FA for all teams. Been running with the new depth chart so when the new come out hit the ground running. Then play with IND play book(there playbook all shotgun and single back. Looks to be a fit) Denver playbook on D.

The media said SF traded up to take Mac Jones till draft night they took the guy they really wanted. Could be either of the two QBs I'm sure no one outside the org really has a clue and the Panthers are enjoying the publicly of having everyone talk about them everyday guessing.
