  1. Talent is obviously tantalizing but hell no to a fully guaranteed contract. Deshaun's contract is going to ruin the Browns if it didn't already.
  2. He did not play well. Wilks just did a better job of gameplanning to keep his mistakes to a minimum.
  3. Darnold played decently down the stretch? LOL come on now he was 5 for 15 43 yards and 2 ghastly picks week 18.
  4. Young please. I don't watch much college football, but what I did see from Bryce Young was tremendous elusiveness, poise, and command of the field. Just like Russell Wilson seemed too small for the NFL but compensated by being elusive, I think Bryce can do the same.
  5. Good enough I guess. At least we finally hired an offensive head coach. Really wanted either Steichen or Johnson but nothing we could do about Johnson and something went sideways with Steichen.
  6. I know it's a tough pill to swallow and would be weird as fug to see him in Panthers colors but you can't deny his cred as a coach. If he helps us win, even the ones who hate the idea will hold their nose and cheer for him.
  7. IMO he isn't worth more than about a million per year. I see him more as a 3rd stringer
  8. Don't want. Still want a guy who knows offense inside and out.
  9. Yes. Not something to be ignored. But it’s also not necessarily a valid reason to bring Wilks back.
  10. I’d rather have a coach that knows offense than any defensive coach for head coach but to say that Wilks is a failure and that we need to redo everything is probably wrong.
  11. Still would have rather tanked than what we're doing, even though winning today was cool. Darnold and PJ still aren't the answers. I'd like to see Corral have a legit shot but he's a total unknown. Also don't like that this might earn Wilks the full-time job because I still think we'd be better off with a coach experienced in the offensive side.
  12. I'd prefer Bryce Young. He's small but he's so elusive and heady.
  13. Thought he said a coaching job with a good, established QB is the unicorn? Edit: Point has already been made by multiple others. Carry on
  14. Cheap clickbait there by ESPN. It's not about his height. It's about the Browns D-line being really good and Joe Wood building his line's game plan around getting their hands up if they can't get home. He was probably staring his receivers down a little because his playbook knowledge isn't quite there yet.
  15. I see your reasoning, but the run defense was bad from the first snap.
  16. This was my thought too. Baker was out of rhythm with most of the offense in the first half. But the run defense is the biggest culprit.
  17. Not from me. The Browns do have a great running game, but you should expect to lose just about any game where you allow 200+ yards rushing.
  18. My wife went to Florida the same time as Pineiro. She said he's really good.
  19. Trying to make Rock Hill whole by selling their land and giving them the proceeds.
  20. It was a cool sequence. Guarantee I could not have hit that net if I had 1000 tries. Accurate throw
  21. If Matt or Sam is truly better than Baker, then yes go with the best one. However, I don't believe for a second that Baker wouldn't win that competition, with Matt coming in second.
  22. My only response to the article's author: LOL whatever. It sounds like a fan who was having a bad day wrote this.
