  1. Maybe. Not league wide though. Back then people thought Smitty was on the decline and Cam wasn’t “cerebral “ enough to excel.
  2. Slightly different though. Rookie Cam had Smitty and Olsen and a rocket arm to challenge defenses immediately. He was also underestimated as a thrower going into the season.
  3. I think Fitt does a fine job at getting the players his coaches want. I think he probably has to bend his ear to Tepper too much though. The o-line looks worrisome. And I fear we may have outsmarted ourselves in taking Bryce Young. He might be a savant student of the game. But it won't matter if he's getting broken collarbones. I don't say that as knock on Bryce but his success is going to be dependent on many factors. Whereas the safer bet could have been rolling with Wilks, drafting AR, keeping Foreman, and possibly DJ.
  4. I like Jersey Mikes but I do hit Subway from time to time for their tuna. It's not for everyone but I love that poo. I love Harris Teeters subs also.
  5. As much as I like Bryce I agree. My ultimate fear is that we outsmarted ourselves by taking him.
  6. I thought he looked just fine. He showed a lot of poise. He can’t be taking hits like that though. It was mildly disturbing to watch. Our o-line has to be stellar.
  7. I give Corral credit for not giving up on the play at least.
  8. Idk guys. Not trying to be negative but he just took two big ass hits his first drive in the NFL.
  9. One minute left and the Titans have to challenge to waste my fuggin time
  10. God damn NFL network not changing the game. I don’t give a fug about the Bears game.

It looks pretty good. I've been wanting to use it as an excuse to get a 4070ti finally. Hope it lives up to the hype haha
  12. Preaching to choir here. I've said the same thing for years. It's a real shame too. Cam deserved better and was ahead of his time. I loved Cam's confidence and his ego. He brought pride and arrogance to the Panthers for the first time. He made us feel like we deserved to be winners and not have to ask for it. Shame on the NFL for allowing such a piss poor display. I hope Cam speaks out on it one day.
  13. Oh I agree 100%. Even though it will go to our advantage this time it still makes me sick to my stomach. Those idiot zebras are supposed to be objective. Not get mad that big balls Cam doesn't play the game the way you want him to.
  14. To be fair we never should have let the guy walk. We tried to replace him with Kaelen Clay and he cost us multiple games with his drops. Byrd could have developed into 700 yd a season WR if he continued a report with Cam.
  15. Damn that might leave the door open Shi Smith. I love me some Byrd though. Underrated player.
  16. This 100%. It also looked like Cam was anticipating the ball bouncing and changing direction. That moment has always just been an excuse for F-150's to spew their hate.
  17. I love what we're hearing about Bryce but I also feel it needs to be said that his brain isn't the only reason he's a #1 pick. He also has incredible accuracy and touch. There are a lot of smart QB's that are career backups. I think there is a difference in understanding what is happening and having the ability to execute it on the field. Bryce has a skillset that allows him to take advantage of the weaknesses he sees. Granted he hasn't played a down yet in the NFL but thus far he's excelled for multiple reasons.
  18. Yeah I can agree with that. I also feel like much of the BS calls came from the refs and the league having bias against Cam. I think the fact that Cam wasn't an awe shucks try hard traditional QB rubbed the old crusty zebras the wrong way and chose not to protect him. Which just shows the lack of integrity on the official's part. Cam should have been able to be as unabashedly himself as he damn well please and you still call the game fair and square. And if anyone thinks thats a tin foil hat theory, just look at what the refs did when they finally made PI challengeable. They essentially boycotted it and turned down every challenge despite the clear evidence overturning PI. These people don't like being told their wrong because they get high on power trips.
  19. 100% It was Manning's retirement game. It was the most disgusting display of officiating I've ever seen. Which is sad because you would think on the biggest stage, on the biggest game of the year, for the 50th anniversary of the NFL they would get the calls right. The fact that they didn't tells me it was deliberate.
