NFL really started losing me during SB 50. Carolina lost, someone has to. But I have never seen such a ridiculous amount of bias in refereeing. Opening game 2016, Cam is headhunted, nothing. He gets told you're not old enough to get that call. Brady or Rodgers gets a finger touch on the helmet and it's roughing the passer. It's not just Carolina that deals with this. The NFL has its darling players and franchises and more and more, games feel scripted like WWE. Goodell has been a terrible commissioner for the NFL. It's hard to demand integrity from players when the league office has none.

A Walmart out here used to offer a raffle ticket for every cart you brought back inside from outside. The prize was a $250 GC, a $100 GC, and a $50 GC every other week. Worked great. Was never a cart outside. So naturally they ditched the idea. Why use your greeter to hand out tickets when you can hire cart runners.

When you have no support system, you can get pretty damn frazzled. Sometimes all you need is just to know you have some help if you need it and it's not all up to you to fix it. Closest thing I can think to compare it to is 1st couple days cooking in a restaurant vs being there a year. 10 tickets at once and you might panic a little on your first couple days, a year later, and it's "hold my beer".

That would be insanely fun too watch, if it worked. I've always thought Cam made sense here if he could be Darnold's backup and we were serious about making a run for a championship. The downside obviously is his personality is so big, he could cause a distraction among the fanbase and media. We all know his shoulder isn't the same and he wears down over a full season. But if he had to come in and play the last 3 or 4 games and we could be in the playoffs, Cam could lead that run and I have much more faith in his abilities to do so than Walker.

Fair to remember that the rookies haven't had any time in real speed NFL games against top tier talent. If we rotate them in some and they perform better, by all means, start them. I'm good with getting a little live time under their belts.
