Not looking for mid round rookies to come in and save us. But if you draft 2 offensive linemen, and during the short time they get to play, they actually don't look bad, you play them. Especially if they played better than the guys currently starting. And it's not like we're talking about 1 or 2 bad games. These guys have been horrible all season. We're not winning. We're not really even competing. Heading into the off-season, you need to know what you have to be able to build a better team.

See that's the thing. We drafted 2 guys that look promising but we have no idea how they'll actually do because our HC insists on starting absolute trash instead. So now here we are at the end of the season, with only 1 pick in the 1st 3 rounds, and we have no idea what we have in our 2 linemen. Do we draft a LT or could BC actually not be a guard? Is Brown worth starting or developing? Who knows. Oh that's right. Virtually anyone with any type of football IQ watching Rhule constantly put the worst offensive line on the field because the stats say they're versatile.

Which makes me wonder if he will be cut this week.

By coming out and saying Darnold is going to play this week, it looks like he's going to treat the rest of the year like preseason. Well, except for the part about actually playing guys to see if they might be any good like Brown and BC.

Brady has 7 rings (2 losses), possibly an 8th. If you add up every other starting QB to have won a SB that's still playing that still doesn't equal his amount of wins in the big dance. The most anyone else has is 2 and that's Big Ben 13 years ago. Peyton Manning, one of the greatest to ever play, went 4 times, won 1, lost 2 and we all know what happened to get his 2nd. No other player has that amount of history winning as TB and at that's the most important position to get to that point as well. Brady is in a win now situation. At 44, he isn't playing forever, even though he wants to play until 50. Guys playing or coming to Tampa know this. It's different than building a winning franchise. Guys going to Tampa are going for a greater chance to win a SB. Guys staying after last year are staying to do it again. He elevates everyone around him. This isn't me having a man crush or anything on Brady. I just recognize he is the greatest NFL playoff QB we will likely ever see play the game. Players and coaches know that as well.

Keeping Rhule and firing his assistants is like changing your baby's diaper and putting the shitty one back on.
