If the NFL doesn't want to get an even worse reputation for player safety, they need to shut him down for the year and possibly a career after an independent neurological team looks at him. That's a lot of TBI in a short period of time.

Predict how fast the Huddle turns on J-No
SmokinwithWilly replied to kungfoodude's topic in Carolina Panthers
Nippleshorts was bad, but JNo did himself no favors in that situation. Bringing an amateur, and that's generous, to the negotiation for the biggest contract in your life was a massive mistake. It was ego vs incompetence and the loser was the fan base. -
Current draft position all rds
SmokinwithWilly replied to raleigh-panther's topic in Carolina Panthers
Probably doesn't calculate the trade value until the end of the season is officially over even though we all know the result. -
Depends on the sod. Some has a less dense root base so there is a little sponginess to it even when frozen. It's all about base prep for either. If I have 200 million invested in players annually, I'm putting in proper drainage and heating the subsurface.
-
It's not just the turf. It also rained before the freeze happened. It takes time for that moisture to wick out of the ground and for the base to dry unless you have some kind of heating system underneath. If it's still damp, you're whole base is ice so it is exactly like playing on concrete.

I'll eat my crow about BC playing guard. I didn't think his footwork or bend lent well to him at the position. Campen has done really well with him.

I think this is also the first time in his career he hasn't had to worry about being leveled every play. Even last year on the plays he wasn't under pressure, you could tell he expected to get drilled.

Push To The Superbowl Panthers Lions GameDay Thread

Hurt QBs don't play and big stars out means less revenue. It's all about the money and always has been. -

Well he got drafted in the 3rd so you might want to put grandma's hooch away. It's not good to be shitfaced this early in the morning. -
I miss having a TE that can catch a pass

I forgot how nasty that hit was. Would definitely be called defenseless receiver now.

At this point I trust a Huddle vote more than Tepper. -

Most defensive coaches are conservative by nature. The NFL is changing rules to open things up offensively even more. It makes sense to look for an offensive minded guy that's young, creative and willing to take risks. It's where the NFL is headed and we should go with that trend instead of spending another 5 years playing it safe. -
Attacking “glass half full” posters after a loss…

Well 2 of those teams are in our division and have/had 2 hated QBs. One is one of the most narcissistic whiners in the NFL and the other wears braided belts. Hate is warranted. -
How good is Brian Burns 2022 campaign?

Depends on the guarantee amount. Fully guaranteed, yes. -
How good is Brian Burns 2022 campaign?

I think Luvu may go a little higher since he's been balling out more than anyone else. He may not always show it in the stats, but his effort is undeniable. I think he gets 8.5 to 9.5 per for 3. Burns contract sounds about right, but guaranteed will be in the 90-100 range which is 18-20 per year for the 5 no matter if he blows his knee out the day after he signs. I hate big guarantees. -

Reddick, Luvu, Burns in that order. Big contract for a team rebuilding. -

Exactly. You have to weigh Burns at a cost of 30m per year(estimated) for 4 or 5 years, 2-3 of which will be spent during rebuild Or Pick 36 atm, 24 1st and 25 1st from a declining team and 30m per season to add an edge rusher and other positions depending on cap spent on said edge rusher. It's just personal opinion of which is more valuable overall. Personally, I think the team benefits more from the latter. No hate towards Burns at all.
