  1. I fuging hate this team. In fact the only thing I hate more is myself for allowing myself to buy back into the hype this off season.
  2. Get right and healthy this week and win convincingly against Houston with the offensive line, Bryce and Thomas Brown/playcalling looking like we'd hoped they would a month ago and I'd say we'd have at least a very good chance winning the next 3. I'm not holding my breath though. Nothing I've seen to indicate the team can even put it all together for a half let alone 11 straight games.
  3. Bright side isn't Corbett due to return to practice any day now? He was just out the first 4 games so should be able to return and open the 21 day window soon.... I hope. Season is toast at this point and 0-4 but my Sundays would be more enjoyable if we could field a competent offense. Not like we have our own first to lose out for.
  4. Bryce Young legit looks like the worst QB in the NFL 4 weeks in. Whether that's him, Reichs system or Fitts players remains to be seen but outside of maybe like 3-5 throws all year he has not flashed at all. When we get to 0-6 the seats going to get warm... If we drop the next 2 to the Bears and Texans to fall to 0-8 and there's been no improvement from the offense someone (likely Fitt) is going to be fired.
  5. Was assured numerous times RBs were a dime a dozen and we could easily find a cheaper replacement just as competent in FA or the draft. Someine just like Miles Sanders. Meanwhile dude has more TDs today than our entire offense under Bryce Young lol. Trading him away was the first of many mistakes made in an off-season where we absolutely could not afford any. Thank goodness we made that trade so we could have the ammo needed to still trade away DJ Moore for #1 and move up in the draft for DJ Johnson. Oh and don't forget the cap flexibility to make sure we could re-sign Burns who *checks notes* still isn't re-signes...
  6. Can't fug up the draft picks if you don't have any to make... If there's another trade to be made out there ala Gilmore for a 5th pull it. Of course other side of the coin there are the bad trades Fitts made (Darnold and Henderson) Worth keeping tabs on Cincinnati to see how they do thus weekend. 1-3 and Tee Higgins becomes more and more available. We of course will just low ball him and watch him walk anyways but thats part of the fun at this point.
  7. Andy Isabella is a name that strikes me as a particular fit. Checks primary need for speed. Also only 26 so should have a few years left. Outside of that it's a bunch of names and aging Vets. Chris Conley, Julio Jones, Robbie Chosen Anderson, Kenny Golladay, TY Hilton, Jarvis Landry. Big Yikes. Maybe other teams PS would be better to look through.
  8. I'm gonna be honest. I can't imagine he's gonna have a choice. Will be Carolina or off to sell insurance.
  9. He'll be back on the PS. If Will Grier went through unclaimed Matt probably does too.
  10. No doubt dude is a special talent (when healthy) but the Colts want a 1st or a combo of picks equal to a 1st. Then you have to pay him. Giving up a CMC size haul of picks, to then turn around and pay him more money than CMC... Special player or not I'm out in this one.
  11. The claims from both sides seem they'd be easy to prove in court. If they've tried to pay him half of everything and he refused so they established a trust account for his son theres receipts. Likewise if his life story was pimped out and he didn't receive a dime and he wasn't actually adopted thats also pretty verifiable. I hope whoever is in the right (and in the wrong too I suppose) gets what they deserve. I will say, I have to wonder what's happened with Oher since he left the NFL. He was never the same after that week 3 game and concussion against the Vikings as a player. Cant help but wonder if CTE could be a factor here. That picture he posted was super haunting.
  12. Stefan LeFors had a couple really nice games too as a rookie before he got cut his second year. Had like 3 fumbled snaps in an ugly Steelers finale.
  13. I assumed this was an obvious parody of the person in yesterday's practice thread who said the same thing "Overall this doesn't sound good for us" If not though and this post is serious? Ooooof.
  14. Hahaha. It was one of those custom name jobs lol. Was a Christmas gift from my dad my freshman year of high school. Born and raised in Louisville and LeFors was my favorite player at the time. Was stoked when both he and Eric Shelton got drafted in 05.
  15. Honestly? Miles Sanders probably. Much like 2015 there isn't going to be "a guy" at least not initially. Outside of Greg Olsen were guys like Ted Ginn Jr and Philly Brown more accomplished than DJ Chark? They certainly weren't more accomplished than a guy like Adam Thielen. While I don't think we have any single player who is even remotely close to the individual talent of Olsen (was a top 2 TE in the league at the time and I'd argue he wasn't 2) I think as a whole the playmakers are better than 2015. The offensive coaching staff SURE AS poo is. The great equalizer and the engine that made that offense go was Cam and his athleticism. While not even close to comparable athletically, if Bryce can be 80% of what we hope he is there is no reason he cant have a similar impact as a facilitator and distributer. I'm not saying he'll be MVP and 15-1 good as a rookie. But 10 wins? In this division? I stand by what I said.
  16. I refuse to believe that teams led by Baker Mayfield/Todd Bowles Desmond Ritter/Arthur Smith and Derek Carr/Dennis Allen are going to win more games than us. If Bryce Young is even 80% of what we think he can be and the team avoids major injuries I think 10 wins is the floor. In this division with those above mentioned teams 10-7 might just run away with the division.
  17. I think he is likely still a better WR than DeAndre Hopkins. But if we were going to go after one of them I'd prefer Hopkins. 1) Cheaper 2) Don't need to trade additional assets for him 3) Divaaaa Either one would be the best WR on this team since 89 but even then the team felt it was best for Cams development if 89 wasn't around. Ultimately I expect we pass on both for that reason but man... Diggs is starting to show some of those same tendiencies and toxic behaviors that AB did before his divorce from the Steelers and he completely lost his mind.
  18. It's probably the Falcons. Vick floating for the TD, Gtfo my field, Two cheap shots on Cam, 15-1 season But I voted the Saints because God damn do I despise that team during the SP year. Gregg Williams comments about trying to hurt Smitty, fight in the end zone, running up the score to break records and those fans... the smug superiority they think one gifted Owl gave them after literally spending decades under trash bags over their their heads. I obviously want the division to lose every week but the Saints are the only team I am salty enough to actively "hate watch" and chear against.
  19. He has no resume only physical tools, (which are admittedly impressive) He can't throw to his left, will be 24 years old at the start of the season (Darnold is 25 now with 5 years of NFL experience by comparison) and has failed to ever "put it all together" For every highlight throw he makes there are 2-3 bonehead lapse of judgment plays in every game. If he was 3 years younger with everything else the same I bet hed have been a lock in the top 7. All those tools and still failing to put it all together means teams are going to wonder how much you can actually develop. I've said from the start dude is Sam Darnold on film with his carelessness with the ball. Rest of the NFL seems to agree.
  20. Basically gave up a 2nd (assuming he meets thats 65% threshold) and DJ Moore less for 1, 2 years tops, of Rodgers than we gave up for 5 years of rookie money Young/Stroud Wow.
  21. "Narcissistic con artist" Jesus that was tough to go through - thanks for reminding me lol
