  1. The debate comes down to what is better: Big contract and grab a sure thing with Rodgers or Carr or give up draft picks and grab a young stud QB that will be on a smaller contract for years. I have no idea what is a better option
  2. I don’t think it does because he was sober. Who knows though and we’ll see.
  3. Involuntary manslaughter is definitely possible. I’d be shocked if there was a conviction and why I’d be surprised if they brought this charge. Evidence appears to be solely from surveillance videos. Article I read said the officer did not detect any alcohol.
  4. Good grief. I’m not sure I can support this team much longer with Tepper at the helm. I might be a free agent at some point in the future as well
  5. I'm never a fan of tanking because I think it is a loser approach. However in this situation, I think Houston is idiotic to not roll over and lose one more to get the #1 pick.
  6. I don't think any of the good ones will be at 9. I think all of the QBs have questions and I'd be reluctant to give up much to move up and I'd rather throw draft capital at Rodgers, Jackson, or Carr.
  7. This was a freak accident and nothing more than that.
  8. Happy for Baker but let’s keep it in perspective. We are talking about one game.
  9. Why on earth would you post this on the internet
  10. Just because someone decides to not use a sport agent does not mean that they don't have attorneys reviewing everything.
  11. Sam is a back-up at this point and I think he'd be a great back-up. We should keep him around for this role.
  12. Wilks is Ron Rivera 2.0. Not necessarily a bad thing, but we’ve all seen this movie.
  13. Foreman had a bad day last Sunday, it happens. I like him and I suspect he bounces back this weekend. By the way, the Ravens offense looked terrible as well. Our QB play is so bad that I suspect Darnold to look like Superman on Sunday. And Darnold is terrible.
  14. DJ looks checked out to me and this is a problem. Competitors want to compete whatever the situation is.
  15. This is something the players union should handle. I doubt the savings is that great from turf to grass. I suspect most stadiums have gone to turf because it is easier to manage when you have concerts and non-sporting events.
  16. This is not unusual for a bankruptcy of this size. I'm not a bankruptcy attorney but I am an attorney and I deal with bankruptcies from time to time.
  17. His issue in the past has been turnovers and bad decision making. Hopefully he can get some confidence and run away with the starting job and nothing would make me happier. I think Rhule and company were so bad that you need to give just about every player a second chance.
  18. It doesn't work in the NFL because teams miss all the time with the #1 pick and Mayfield and Darnold are perfect examples. Can you imagine being a highly paid professional athlete and being asked to roll over for some amateur to come save the day. I played sports on a full ride in college and clearly you haven't played sports or not at a high level. I'll say it again . . . tanking is a loser mentality.
  19. And it doesn't work in the NFL and Mayfield and Darnold are two perfect examples. Can you imagine giving up to be rewarded with Baker Mayfield and Sam Darnold when they were drafted as the saviors for the Jets and Browns.
  20. There has always been Shaq hate on this board and I don't get it. He's a top 15 linebacker in the league and I'd restructure before cutting him for the cap savings.
  21. Why is McAdoo still around?
  22. It’s all so bad. There is nothing to look forward to at the moment. I’m out as a fan if they start tanking…such a loser mentality.
