  1. Also, in his film, it's easy to see he can regularly make throws that Teddy Bridgewater simply does not have the physical capability to make.
  2. Seems most here are under the delusion that a top QB will be available at pick 8. Not likely. Once the Watson drama started to unfold it became clear we have almost no shot of landing a top quality QB. We effectively gave up one pick that had a better than average chance at panning out as a quality player in order to pick up someone who I think we can all agree has untapped potential.
  3. People freaking out over this, but I think it's a solid trade. He has legit talent. NYJ are a pathetic dumpster fire of an organization that has ruined every QB they've touched for like 30 years. Remember how bad they made Favre look, who went on to have the best season of his career in Minny?
  4. As much as I like Trevor Lawrence, that offense really is all about play design and getting a specific target open. He had a tendency at times to lock on to that first read. This stat doesn't surprise me.
  5. He played for the worst dumpster fire of a team in the league. He's got talent. Worth kicking the tires on vs two-yard-Teddy.
  6. I think the brass is dead on the money there. Those are the only two potential star QBs coming up this year in my opinion.
  7. Maybe we just need to draft a left-handed QB.
  8. Which makes it that much more offensive.
  9. I don't see Teddy starting more than 4 games before the install a 1st round rookie as the starter, unless Teddy somehow figures out how to be a good QB.
  10. I'm just sick of the Bills poaching us non-fugging-stop. Damn. Do your own thing. If there was a dude out there that was dating every single one of my ex's I'd start taking that sh*t as an offense.
  11. Dude. Give me a fugging breeeeaaak!
  12. ESPN didn't make any specific claims. They just put the complaints on display in one centralized source.
  13. ESPN finally put up a decent article that summarizes the complaints against Watson. After reviewing them I'm changing my tone and saying I 100% do NOT want him... and I've supported us selling the farm for him previously. There is enough similar detail between each of the accounts to make the complaints seem quite believable.
  14. I still cannot fathom why anyone thinks Trey Lance is a top 10 pick.
  15. If any accusations are proven true, no. As things stand now, my answer is still yes.
  16. What if that player IS the future, and is one of the premier future players of the entire league?
  17. He's just worth it. That's all there is to it. Opportunities like this just don't come up. There aren't any times in league history that I can think of where a franchise player of this caliber came available right as he was reaching his prime.
  18. I'd give the edge to Cam. Cam really set a new baseline for all subsequent top picks because of how he performed in his rookie season. It was unthought of that a rookie could pass for 4k yards... and that is completely disregarding the absurd 14 rushing touchdowns he put up. Melo is leading the Hornets to the playoffs, but I don't necessarily think he is resetting the standard for how top rookies should be expected to perform moving forward like Cam did.
