  1. 100% dead serious when I say that even somehow landing Aaron Rodgers would not make me excited. I have absolutely no hope for this team next year.
  2. I get it, but this team is doomed if they draft a rookie to play behind this line. Priority number 1, 2, and 3 have got to be replacing 3 of the sh*tbags not playing RT. I think Brady Christensen has some potential somewhere on the line. We will all be very surprised at how good this team looks when our QB isn't getting utterly pulverized. Fitzmagic on a cheap deal with a rebuilt o-line could at least make the team watchable for a year and lay the groundwork for a great campaign the year after next.
  3. Stop talking about QBs on this forum dammit. If Tepper comes on here and thinks the fans want a QB drafted and he actually listens to us we are screwed. OL. That is all anyone should be talking about or be excited for.
  4. I remember how much folks (specifically folks on this board) were thrilled when he left the team as DC, myself included. I honestly do think he would be a great hire at DL coach though. The guy coached up one of the greatest defensive lines in NFL history with the Panthers.
  5. Considering that 4 of the last 6 participants in the super bowl have effectively been super teams, I think mortgaging the future is pretty darn beneficial if the timing is right. For all the BS this board talked about the Saints nearing "cap hell" they were very competitive for several years while we were in the dumpster with all our cap space. Spend money to win. It's a game. If you lose you get to hit the reset button in a couple years and try again. We're hitting the rest button yet again after sucking for 4 years straight.
  6. O-line has got to be the top priority this year. Stafford is in the super bowl because he took his elite talent to a team that had some decent pieces built around him. He toiled for years on a piss poor team. Mahomes was decimated by the Bucs last year because his line failed him. QB is the most important position on the field, but those talents are squandered when you have a line as bad as ours.
  7. I would, right now, without hesitation, trade ten years of cap hell for one superbowl trophy to be sitting at bank of america stadium. I'd rather take it home with a beautiful woman once a year than settle for second base with a dog once a week.
  8. We just need to stop the bleeding with half-ass signings at QB and accept the fact that we have another season of suckage coming.
  9. I do not think any elite talent at the QB position would be willing to play for the Panthers right now, even if we did fix the o-line. On paper it seems that with some serviceable play up front we could be a strong offense, but Rhule is such an obvious piece of trash that I don't think anyone would want to play for him.
  10. Cam will be 46 and on the couch and there will still be members of this forum saying we need to give him a call.
  11. "Hello Mr. Rodgers. I am David Tepper. If you come to the Panthers I'll give you three hot stock tips per week, and will cover your post-retirement CTE treatments if you sustain more than 12 helmet-to-helmet hits in one season behind my o-line."
  12. Do you think the guy who said CB is just trying to be a smartass?
  13. It was literally baffling. Typical though. The ball has been bouncing Brady's way his entire career. Somehow, someway, he's just lucky and he brings the luck with him.
  14. Seeing Tom Brady lose in a painful fashion strengthens my faith in Jesus.
  15. LMFAOOOOO.... this is a neverending nightmare
  16. Not recently, but that's because not many have been prime trade candidates when they were only 25 years old.
  17. Anyone on earth is an upgrade.
  18. I completely disagree with every point you made. Every single one of those are complete assumptions. The closest thing to a virtual guarantee, however, is us being well compensated for him in a trade.
  19. I don't think that's true. If he were in his late 20s or early 30s maybe, but he's got plenty of tread on the tires. He would be one of the best slot receivers in the entire NFL if he played the position full time. Plenty of teams would trade for him. Imagine how much of a contender the Bills become with a player like CMC?
