Current Win Total Odds for Remainder of Season
KatsAzz replied to MHS831's topic in Carolina Panthers
I can vision the Panthers winning a couple of more games and finishing 6-11. I know this would be a long shot but if QB Sam Darnold can becomes a flop that fliped and starts show casing the talent he had in college, my opinion will go out the window. -
This sums it up very nicely.

If the Denver Broncos released Russell Wilson this season, they would be left with $124 million in dead money. They would incur $107 million in dead money if he were released in 2023 and $85 million if he were released in 2024. The Broncos can't save cap space by releasing Wilson until 2025 when he no longer has a guaranteed salary.

What a dumb publicity stunt!!!

I will be pulling for UNC to beat Clemson and hope QB Drake Maye can light up that tough Clemson defense. However, the betting spead has Clemson a 7.5 favorite, so UNC will have their work cut out for them if they want to pull the upset.

Reading that Observer article brought back many fond memories of Salt and Pepper when they played togeather in the bygone days of 1996 and 1997. The articles content also gave me a feeling of sadness because those times I enjoyed then have have long passed, just like Sam Mills and Kevin Greene. I hated the fact that by 1998 Lathons NFL career was cut short by repeated injuries and sadly he never had a season anything like his Pro Bowl year of 1996 again.

When did you figure out Rhule was a fraud?
KatsAzz replied to Randolph Panther's topic in Carolina Panthers
I wouldn't say I called Rhule a fraud from the very first day that he was announced as the Panthers head coach, but bad past experiences of NFL teams hiring college coaches, led me to believe at the time he wouldn't be a good long term fit for the team. -
Catcrave 4 QBs if panthers drop out of top 10
KatsAzz replied to raleigh-panther's topic in Carolina Panthers
Both Young and Stroud will probably be gone when the Panthers select in the 2023 draft in rd. 1, so i would like to see them take the best player available and take a chance on Florida QB Anthony Richardson if he is there in the 2nd rd.. Richardson has a lot of untapped talent and may have more upside than any QB in the draft, if given time to develop by good coaching. -
If you are going to apologize to your wife over a matter, please do it in private, not over Instagram.

With the issues Brown has he can be a danger to others as well as himself. So sad.

Don’t look now, but the Panthers have allowed just 38 points in the last three weeks. They have to clear up the quarterback position but there’s a promising foundation to be excited about for the near future, especially on defense. Considering the adverse circumstances of Matt Rhule’s midseason firing, interim head coach Steve Wilks is doing a very good job. In my opinion, Wilks could be coaching his way into the full time, head coach position.

David Tepper ‘Under Investigation’ Over Public Money
KatsAzz replied to OnlyPantherFaninMaine's topic in Carolina Panthers
I am not saying you are wrong about the fans take on Clark Hunt in KC but it would be hard to find any NFL fanbase that didn't have certain people that were critical of the team owner. -

Plus, taking real grass off the playing field at the stadium and replacing it with turf that the players hate and say causes injuries. -
I feel sure Sean Payton wants nothing to do with the Panthers and I want the Panthers to have nothing to do with Sean Payton.

I read in an article that the Panthers will wind up having to pay Rhule around $ 6 million because a lot of the money in his new contract was back loaded.

QB Will Levis declaring for the NFL draft
KatsAzz replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
I only see two quarterbacks: C.J. Stroud and Bryce Young that are worthy of being taken in Rd # 1 in the 2023 NFL Draft, in my opinion. Those two are followed in order by Will Levis, Tanner McKee and Anthony Richardson, 3 that are long shots to be selected in 1st rd but more likely 2nd rd choices. If C.J. Stroud and Bryce Young are both gone when the Panthers are selecting, I am wondering if they will roll the dice and pick either Levis, McKee, Richardson, or just chose the best player available? -
Now the we presently have hind sight, that trade could be one of the biggest steals in NFL history.

Rhule was a Con Man that made millions while doing nothing to earn it.

Men's Fanatics Branded Black Oregon Ducks True Sport Men's Navy Oregon Ducks Banner Arch T-Shirt DRAFT PROFILE: BIO Bo Nix from Pinson Valley High School was rated a 4-star recruit by ESPN and handed a 5-star grade by 247 Sports. After high school, Nix opted to join Auburn. In 2019 as a freshman Nix saw action in 13 games for the Tigers as he threw for an impressive 2538 yards on 382 attempts with a completion percent of 56.8 for an average of 6.6 yards per pass, with a decent 16 TDs, while taking 16 sacks, and a decent QB rating of 84.5. He added 85 runs for a total of 429 yards at an average of 5.0 per run. In 2020 as a sophomore he played in 11 games as he passed for an impressive 2412 yards on 361 attempts with a completion percent of 59.3 for an average of 6.7 yards per pass, with a decent 12 TDs, while also taking 17 sacks, and putting up a decent QB rating of 82.3. He made 93 runs for a total of 480 yards at an average of 5.2 per rush. As a junior in 2021 Nix played a total of 10 games. He passed for an impressive 2293 yards on 327 attempts and put up a completion percentage of 60.2 for an average of 7.0 yards per attempt, with a decent 11 TDs, and allowing 11 sacks, with a decent QB rating on the year of 88.9. As a runner he logged 52 runs for a total of 268 yards at an average of 5.2 per run. SCOUTING REPORT: STRENGTHS He’s good enough as a runner to work read-option plays, keeping back-side defenders in place. Picks up yards with his legs when needed. He’s an athlete who runs well and must be accounted for in the read-option game. Gets the ball out quickly, making ·splitsecond decisions. Good short to intermediate level accuracy, demonstrating the ball placement to allow receivers to run after the catch. Generally accurate on intermediate and short throws; flashes anticipation and placement on intermediate outs and the ability to lead receivers on deeper throws. Good accuracy overall, including excellent accuracy on short timing routes to backs and receivers, placing the ball slightly in front to lead receivers to potential yardage after the catch. SCOUTING REPORT: WEAKNESSES He’s far too quick to lower his eyes and look for a running lane after moving off his first read (too many plays in college that won’t translate to the NFL). Mechanically, his stride is inconsistent, adding to accuracy issues. His decision making after the snap is shaky. Nix gets sloppy with his mechanics on the move, losing accuracy as Nix relies too much on his arm.

Matt Rhule: “I wish I never took the job”
KatsAzz replied to CashNewton22's topic in Carolina Panthers
" Matt Rhule when asked what he would do differently in his time in Carolina opens by saying he probably would’ve taken a different job. " This is one of the very few things I have ever agreed with him. -
I have seen Brady do that lots of times and nothing called.

I thought Brian Burn gave a good interview by letting his out going personality show and fielding all the questions correctly.
