That's how it goes, even BB failed in Cleveland. Brady was ridiculously raw and inexperienced when we hired him. He still has a high ceiling, he just isn't close to it yet. I always hoped they would go with an old hand at OC but this staff has been allergic to meaningful NFL experience. Just not balanced and here we are.

A little is post meltdown loss emotion but at this point it's reasonable to expect someone to get fired sooner than later. I agree it's still to early. I expect a fire to be lit by Tepper but the firing to happen later if this continues to fall apart.

At this point I am more interested in seeing a player traded away then a trade for someone.

Not being sarcastic but what do you like that the staff is doing right now? I see a lot of failure and they are not adapting to it well at this point. Lots of takes and lots of feels after today's implosion. The schemes, roster and execution are all bad. Some bright spots on D but that's all I see at this time. Defending Darnold at this point is just delusionary. He is absolutely part of the failure and his performance is absolutely part of why this is a bad team. Lots of blame to go around unfortunately.

Could have had Slater and a C or OG but got Brady and Moore. Our taste and value in oline is terrible regardless of staff sadly.

He is 25 years old, I was hoping he was farther along. He needs a lot of strength training.

If we traded for Watson I would emotionlessly try and sell or just turn in before next year if I couldn't get something for them. Tepper has a contract on those PSL and he is going to make money on it anyways. I was at that point when we traded for Darnold, I'm in maybe we get to see what comes next sooner than expected now. Watson would be a fug it move to me. Time to bail and focus on life elsewhere.

A protest against a predator being shipped in and a crap NFL player's awfulness are different protest. Like non-NFL people show up for one of those and the other doesn't even exist tomorrow for a huge chunk of the populace.

It's done. Trade anyone not in the 3 year plan. Get picks and the rest of the games are practice for next year for the players that we want and want to come back. Staff needs to suck it up and do better the rest of the year with what they have.
