  1. This is exactly what worries me with the Young/Stroud debate. History tells us at least one of them is likely not going to pan out and of course there's always the possibility we're looking at a Carr/Harrington situation where both will end up being busts. How far back do we have to go to find a draft with 2 top QBs competing to be the #1 overall pick where both ended up being studs? You could make an argument for 2012 with Luck and RG3, but obviously RG3's injury derailed his career so we'll never know. Probably the best example is 2004 with Eli Manning and Philp Rivers, but there were also unique circumstances since Eli outright said he didn't want to play for the Chargers.
  2. I keep going back and forth between Young and Stroud, but Young certainly seems to have the "it" factor moreso than Stroud.
  3. Keenan Allen? Tyler Boyd? Michael Pittman? Stefon Diggs? Tyler Lockett?
  4. I agree. You look at the way all these new contracts are structured with low cap hits this year and the fact that they're still doing restructures it does seem to indicate that they're at least going to attempt to do something with that cap space beyond just signing a few more backups in free agency.
  5. Presumably, yes. He could probably be had for a 3rd, but the contract may be the bigger hurdle.
  6. All of these "sources" tweets are probably bullshit. Nobody really knows. That said, I do think that ultimately it's C.J. Stroud.
  7. I'd say that's pretty accurate. But that's also a big "if."
  8. I feel like Jack is overrated, but he'd be worth a shot on a team-friendly 'prove it' deal, I suppose.
  9. Meh. We upgraded. Some fans around here have a power back obsession.
  10. You would assume with the #1 pick playing that we'll get at least one.
  11. I don't really see anyone left on the market that I think can be even a low-end #1 WR outside of maybe D.J. Chark. We really need to be looking at trade options there. We also really need some OL depth and a starting ILB.
  12. I wouldn't even take him there at this point. I just think he's a bust.
