  1. This is an absolute double whammy for ruining this team. Not only are we continuing to overpay for subpar talent like Sanders and Hurst, but we are also screwing ourselves out of possible compensatory picks in the process.
  2. OMFG NO. STOP IT. If this 0-6 team trades away anything for a player prior to the trade deadline, Fitterer needs to be fired immediately. We will have plenty of cap space to make moves in the off-season. It's like going to Vegas and gambling away all your spending money. Pulling from the kids college fund isn't going to turn your luck around. It will only dig a deeper hole. Hold tight, enjoy your prepaid shows. There will be other vacations.
  3. Hell yes. Give me some more of those injury prone players. Should work out just fine.
  4. What good would bringing a WR in this year do for the team. If a team is trading away a player, they are likely at the end of their contract. This year is over. Giving away anything to try and earn a win or two in a wasted year is exactly what has gotten this franchise in trouble in the first place.
  5. We should try and get our 1st back from Chicago.
  6. Tepper really needs to be sitting down and addressing some of the personnel decisions this team has made over the past 3 years. Fitterer and the scouting department should be on notice.
  7. Call me crazy, but I will take an owner who actually cares about winning football games. Tepper is learning as he goes, but he is involved, not afraid to pay top dollar for coaches. Does he have his faults. sure. It could be worse IMO. We could have an owner who didn't really give a crap. IDK just spit balling here.
  8. I am typically not a fan of thread bumps, but this one is gold. This is also a pretty fun read:
  9. I got so much hate when I suggested that we overpaid for Sanders on this forum. It was obvious to everyone not wearing their homer glasses.
  10. Colts fans were saying his, "Run, Run, Pass, Punt" play calling philosophy was losing them games as it was painfully predictable even with their O-Line and RB. I hate to say it but they were right. I could not count the number of drives that were Run, Run/Run-Screen, Pass/Run-Screen, Punt.
  11. Hate that I can't share these videos with anyone due to the language
  12. It's called schadenfreude, and it is delicious, try some!
  13. LB Claudin Cherelus (UDFA out of Alcorn State) from NY Jets DB D'Shawn Jamison (UDFA out of Texas) from San Francisco T Calvin Throckmorton (3rd year player and utility backup, age 27) from NO None of the Panthers players were claimed by other teams.
  14. If winning meaningless games at the end of the season and hurting our draft capital is important for building team culture, winning preseason games is important too.
  15. Everyone gets mad at tankers. Yelling about building a winning culture, and all that jazz. These same people want to sit here and say preseason wins and loses don't matter. That just doesn't make sense to me.
  16. Texan here, can confirm. I bet he loads the dishwasher like a dang Canadian too.
  17. Norwell received a two-year, $10MM Commanders contract. Parting ways with him halfway through that pact will yield $4.38MM in cap savings for Washington via a post-June 1 cut. Looks like it was cap vs performance and not worth the 5 mil.
  18. While he did get a hand full of things incorrect, where this video excels is that he does this for every team in the NFL and probably has a better understanding of 31 other NFL teams better than any Panthers fan. He can compare our coaches and position strengths to other teams due to this and listening with that in mind made it a great listen.
  19. He was due 19 mil from the Cardinals this season before they decided to cut him, and no team picked up that check in a trade, so at least we know that no team will likely be offering him more than that.
  20. We should all take to Twitter and make a big deal about how awesome this is for the team so that Tepper doesn't have any choice but to keep it.
  21. I wonder what Eric Shelton is up to? (Fun fact, he is the same age as Adrian Peterson).
  22. Probably isn't a healthy way to feel, but reading about these teams struggles makes me so dang happy.
  23. When you focus on just these 5 players, looks like NO, CAR, TB, ATL IMO. Luckily, I also think we are deeper, have a better O-Line and hopefully better coaching.
