A guy I have my eye on is Tyler Scott WR Cinncy in the third or fourth round In the second I see us A) trading down b) edge c) TE unless a stud WR or CB is there

Joe Person presents: Panthers 7-round mock draft spectacular
SOJA replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
excellent mock would be very happy with this -
Small players get hurt more often than larger players is a correlation I'm going to bet on with the first overall pick. Yall are wild man.

I think to further solidify my point is to consider is Kylar Murray and how thus far his career has been hamstrung by injuries Look at this photo. Kyler's listed weight is 207, Bryce looks like he's probably 20 lbs under him. If Kyler can't stay on the field why would Bryce be able to outside of amazing luck
-
I agree. It's the only reason why I want us to draft CJ over him. Bryce is the better QB right now but I have serious concerns about his ability to stay on the field longterm in the NFL. That's not to question his toughness either. It's just every week there will be someone bigger and better than Jalen Carter trying to murder you

I mean tbf Bama's WR corps is pedestrian compared to OSU's. and I love CJ

Draft Wish list!! prospects not talked about..
SOJA replied to Sub Zero's topic in Carolina Panthers
Tyler Scott- WR Cincy I'd take him in the third or fourth round, he is exactly the type of WR we have been missing for years -
I called us drafting CJ stroud In April of 2022 and am sticking by that prediction. I think fans/media are obsessed with Young and I can see why, he's a good player. But the NFL always sees these things a little differently than fans do. I think Young's size scares the poo out of teams. Houston will likely take him because they really don't have any other choice. Also I'm calling it now the Levis/Richardson stuff at one is a total smokescreen. Both guys are total projects. You don't take someone like that at one. You take them late round 1 or 2. Not saying neither will be a good QB but they are both at least a year away
-
he's been hit or miss over the years. He had something about Cam a few years ago that was flat out wrong

Marc Ryan - "Carolina Zeroed in on Stroud and Richardson"
SOJA replied to CPcavedweller's topic in Carolina Panthers
I promise you the Panthers didn't trade all the way up to 1 and not have their guy in mind. My gut says its CJ Stroud and were trying to get Houston to blink and give us a high second round pick to take Young at one but I promise you the Panthers know who they are going to draft no matter what they say or leak -
Breer has a checkered history with his carolina "insights" in the past and has been wrong before

Former Panthers QB: “No doubt in my mind” they pick Bryce Young
SOJA replied to Cary Kollins's topic in Carolina Panthers
The more I look at the two. I think that strong arguments could be made for both Young or Stroud and neither appear to be vastly better prospects. We're in such a good position and I can't emphasize enough how happy I am we traded up to 1 overall -
yea I will be honest with you all I have purchased silver multiple times and am secretly ashamed of this lmao

I actually love the expansion. Loadouts is a fuging game changer, it truly makes the game a much more enjoyable experience. Story is not as strong as Witch Queen but gameplay is still great and Strand is fun.
-
we have an excellent young defense and offensive line, an A+ coaching staff and 150 million in cap next year alongside with good draft capital the next few years. What more can you want?
-
have you watched the Panthers for the past three seasons? There has been ZERO hope because you knew we weren't making any noise without a QB.

Confused Why Some Seem to Think We Got Fleeced
SOJA replied to Daddy_Uncle's topic in Carolina Panthers
exactly. this is why Chicago traded with Carolina and not Indy or Houston -
It is truly insane to me that people are upset we traded for the number one pick
-
Here is my conspiracy theory: There are *WAY* too many reports rn about chicago trading the number one pick. Like every national reporter is saying it. Poles is trying his damndest to drive up the price of that pick and cause Indy or CAR to panic and trade up. My sense is the league (not the fans) know this. I still come back to rumors that Indy loves Levis and Houston loves Young. I think the Panthers are in a good position to get Stroud. If that is at pick 3 that's fine. I really do think he may be there at 5 though with Seattle

(Non-QB) Player You Want the Most in the Draft
SOJA replied to bLACKpANTHER's topic in Carolina Panthers
Emmanuel Forbes CB Miss St. I'd take him with our first second round pick, and definitely with the 49ers one Josh Downs WR UNC Darnell Washington TE UGA Dalton Kincaid TE Utah -
REPORT: Panthers to aggressive pursue trade up to get a QB
SOJA replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
he's by far the best player in the draft. I can't see both Arizona and Chicago both in desperate need of d-line help passing on him -
REPORT: Panthers to aggressive pursue trade up to get a QB
SOJA replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Again we come back to Pick 5 making a lot of sense. Anderson and Carter will go in the first 4 picks to Chicago/Arizona in some order Houston and Indy will both take QBs. my prediction is Young and Levis. Seattle makes too much sense. hx with the FO. Seattle will want to trade down as they miss out on elite talent but can still take a DE at 9. We take Stroud. -
lmao
-
totally agree. Now if he is available in the rounds 4-5 you take that guy because you may have just found a Kirk Cousins type player. I'm fine with throwing multiple picks at QB this year.
