I am a huge Mays fan and can I take this opportunity to add. I absolutely love that his main running mate now is Nate Tice. They are fantastic together and such a joy to listen to. I've followed Mays since Grantland and I can not express how much better Nate Tice is than fuging Kevin fuging Clark. It was impossible to listen to his podcast because it was just Kevin constantly interrupting Mays to criticize or belittle his take.

I say this every year, but if you enjoy draft coverage I highly encourage purchasing a subscription to the Athletic for the beast alone. It is so comprehensive, it's the closet things fans will get to an actual NFL draft book. It is accessible to both casual and hard core fans. It's great when we draft a random lineman from Arkansas in the fourth round, while the huddle is losing their fuging mind you can pop into the draft guide and see that Dane had him ranked as a 2nd to 3rd round talent, with elite athleticism and upside. Then you can hit your cigar and laugh like a cartoonish villain while still shitposting on the huddle

excellent write up OP Ill be honest i had not done a lot of digging on that Miami CB but will have to look into him more Tyler Scott is a guy I really would love in round 3

OLB or edge I agree. I don't think they view MLB highly enough to take one at 39 unless there is an absolute stud there that should have been a top fifteen pick

I agree with you, if you have conviction Bryce will be the pick go make yourself some money. Me personally I will be happy with either Stroud or Young. I'm just happy we traded up to #1 overall and aren't going retread again.

CB is pretty loaded this year with a lot of talent at similar levels, wouldn't be surprised if a CB is available at 39 we thought wouldn't be also due diligence in case he becomes available via trade or FA in a few years

easily Young at 1 overall lol The debated is between Stroud and Young at 1. Richardson and Levis are projects, if we were still at 9 it would be a debate between them. Though I very much prefer Richardson over Levis

I think to further solidify my point is to consider is Kylar Murray and how thus far his career has been hamstrung by injuries Look at this photo. Kyler's listed weight is 207, Bryce looks like he's probably 20 lbs under him. If Kyler can't stay on the field why would Bryce be able to outside of amazing luck

I agree. It's the only reason why I want us to draft CJ over him. Bryce is the better QB right now but I have serious concerns about his ability to stay on the field longterm in the NFL. That's not to question his toughness either. It's just every week there will be someone bigger and better than Jalen Carter trying to murder you

I called us drafting CJ stroud In April of 2022 and am sticking by that prediction. I think fans/media are obsessed with Young and I can see why, he's a good player. But the NFL always sees these things a little differently than fans do. I think Young's size scares the poo out of teams. Houston will likely take him because they really don't have any other choice. Also I'm calling it now the Levis/Richardson stuff at one is a total smokescreen. Both guys are total projects. You don't take someone like that at one. You take them late round 1 or 2. Not saying neither will be a good QB but they are both at least a year away
