Whats "high risk" about a young, highly tuned, professional athlete?
-
Would you trade lopsided to trade him away? For instance, Teddy and a 6th for one NE 7th?
-
Exactly. Few people seem to understand that the Panthers will be like the Cowboys are "Football Team", making desperate and exaggerate trades for certain players. Hopefully all this cap is being cleared up in order to pay a lot of draft picks to sort through. Otherwise, Deshaun Watson will be crying on Twitter again in three years when he is in the exact same situation; just with the Panthers.

My brother and I spent at least an hour looking for my dad at an air show once, because every white man around his age was wearing a tan hat, a light colored shirt, khaki shorts, "air dads", and white bunched up socks.

ESPN Predicts Watson to be the Panthers starter in 2021

I officially give up trying to talk sense into anyone, its not worth the annoyance. -
Possibly the craziest draft story you might read

Why is everyone seeming to argue with and/or attack Mr. Scott? Its not just this thread.... -
Updated Cap for the 2021 Panthers

Lol and somehow most of yall think we are going to land Watson with this budget -
I truly cannot understand why that is so hard for most of these people to comprehend.

You guys realize that it would eat CMC and Teddy's contract stipulations, lose 3 first rounders over the next year, AND have to pay Watson's ridiculous salary? We can barely afford have the bums on the team already; and want to salvage the future into an even bigger cap mess so that Watson can get absolutely destroyed?

CBS 2020 NFL Redraft -- 3 Panthers in first round
cardiackat88. replied to Tommy Jone's topic in Carolina Panthers
Ok for fugs sake, fugIN ENOUGH. Watson is an extremely stupid idea, even more so if it means trading away all the talent we currently have, only to finance a Newton-style beating for Watson, and then not being able to afford any new talent because all our money will be invested into him. -
Well, women are really good at pointing out what men do wrong.....

I thought the first two guys were Andy Reid and Eric Bienemy at first.

"Multiple Teams have reached out to the Jets about Darnold"
cardiackat88. replied to ncfan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Would teddy still get traded? Didn’t the Jets have him a year or two already? -
I remember the year him and Goff were in the draft. I said to myself "these dudes would be third rounders at best in almost any other draft".

Jameis Winston starting in NO next year?????
cardiackat88. replied to kungfoodude's topic in Carolina Panthers
I would have loved to see him play instead of teddy. I’m sure it would have been WAY more entertaining, albeit, potentially equally frustrating. That LASIK surgery may have really changed things for him, or not. Would have been fun to find out. -
Perfect! Trade away our future draft capitol and be in cap hell with all the cap tied up in him so hecan take a Cam Newton-esque beating and demand a trade three years from now. Perfect idea guys!

Bieniemy apparently out of the running in Houston

Double post, my bad. -
Bieniemy apparently out of the running in Houston
cardiackat88. replied to Mr. Scot's topic in Carolina Panthers
Is it really that hard to imagine that Bienemy simply wants to continue the success he is found in KC, and is happy with his position? As weird as this may sound, I often get the impression that people are pushing for him to be a head coach very badly. Maybe he simply loves being where he is right now, and isn't actually interested in being a head coach anywhere. -
Sure, if you want to tie up all the salary cap money you have on one player (Watson) as well as three (likely top ten) draft picks over the next few years then absolutely. Then you won’t have any money to pay anyone to stay past a rookie contract, Watson will take a Cam Newton like beating, and the team will suck for years to come. Sounds like a solid plan.

Mike Remmers will start at left tackle in the Superbowl.
cardiackat88. replied to Zod's topic in Carolina Panthers
I am not convinced he is that terrible... BUT, I would totally buy it if you tried to convince me he was a spy against the Panthers. I swear there was times where offsides, holds, etc where just so ridiculous that it was hard to believe he wasn't doing it intentionally.
