I swear, feels like we played like 3 days ago.

Under past regimes I'd be worried about this looking like a prime trap game. But not with this group and the current leadership. We whip the ass that's put in front of us then move on to the next. No one cries when we limp into a game under-manned, neither should we. Fug em, LFG!

Gotdamn, this quote... It's entirely possible that the primary reason Carolina's defense is ready to set fire to the NFL is that, outside of the fact that Snow now has the personnel to run everything he wants, a college-minded defensive coach who learned to defend modern offenses at an elevated level now has the same thing on lock in the pros. It was bound to happen eventually, and right now, nobody in the league seems to know what to do against it.

And that's fair. It will take a week 4 victory over Dallas on the road to be able to put a lot of the "yeah but's" to rest.

We know the drill. The narrative will continue to shift in favor of slanting the Panthers success. 3-0 will be met with an excuse for every win. See Mills, Davis as exhibit A.

That'll buff right out

Teddy couldn't get it done when the game was on the line. Period. How many chances did he have to win a game in the fourth? Seven or Eight? He hit on zero percent of those opportunities. Whatever rifts were going on behind the scenes are irrelevant to me, the guy couldn't close.

It should be a win for us. But it's a road game, and a Thursday night where we historically suck. Time to see if this patchwork offensive line can withstand crowd noise and stay composed. I'm more worried about how our young team faces a road game with high expectations than I am the opponent.

Defense wins championships, albeit that philosophy is evolving over the years. We have one hell of a defense and that puts us in the conversation for sure.
