Darnolds value hasn’t devalued since he took his last snap this past season. I think his market, or lack thereof, was already established. This is just stating the obvious in my opinion. I haven’t seen any threads or discussion with the illusion we could get anything for him. If they can find someone willing to take on some of his contract then bye, otherwise just roll with it until next season.

If CJ can play at a high enough level it offsets the 3rd rounder. The buzz was he would be able to break thru with a change of environment(sound familiar?). Unfortunately, I haven’t been wowed by the return on investment yet and don’t have confidence in the coaching staffs ability to coach him up. As a fan of the team, I wish I could argue with you but sadly, I can’t.

If we bring in a vet QB and he has to "battle" Sam for the starting role we are not upgrading the team. I know Brown has played at LT but isn't he more on the right side? I might be wrong though.

This is probably the best case for Rhule to have a chance at keeping his job. A rookie QB is likely not able to drive this team to the playoffs or a winning season. Focus on the line. If there is a rookie qb in a later round that sneaks thru the cracks then maybe there is an off chance you win the lottery but its definitely not worth investing the one high pick we have.

Just trust the process, dammit!

I may be looking at this incorrectly but this graph appears to be looking at players drafted since 2019. I’m all for piling on Hurney and his inability to draft, but I think this represents only one hurney draft. That said, the Graph colors and the opportunity to berate someone are both refreshing and entertaining. Please carry on.

Matt Rhule probably needs 9 wins to save his job. Over drafting a QB will not help him reach that goal. So that means we will likely take Picket.

I hate to go to the hand size argument but I can’t see how this would jive with Rhules analytic reasoning. BC can’t be a LT because he has arms a 1/4 inch shorter than an elite LT. If that’s your analytical approach then wouldn’t the rational and consistent reasoning cause you pass on Pickett because of his hand size?

If there is a silver lining I do like Taylor and think these guys will improve but the team needs to be able to develop that talent. Hope they are up for it.

I like the concept of this draft as it focuses on QB and OL. The 4th rounder is not a pure center but he is a big guy and most probably is not a turnstile so you upgrade the line which is what we need. I hope Cleveland or some other team is in a generous mood because that trade has extreme value from the Panther perspective. Not sure we would get all those picks but I could roll with something like this if it works that way.

I don’t know much about Flores but snap judgement says he is able to get a lot out of his team. At the same time, Tepper seems to not GAF about the good ole boys club thing so he would probably be a guy that would not blink if Flores is the right hire.

I think (not sure) the person sending this tweet was the same one about a Rhule and Cam tif which also led to a 10 page thread. If the goal is to create hype and clicks, we have success. Journalism standards are optional. Plenty of proven things to indict Rhule on without having to speculate on gossip.
