According to Joe Person’s latest article, Vrabel’s interview with the Panthers was just a “dog and pony show” so Vrabel could try and get leverage on ATL and so we would look like we’re doing due diligence. Canales news broke 90ish minutes after that “interview” finished this morning

This. Atlanta was the only team to interview BB and then they looked around and saw no one else was and moved on

"Only one year of coordinator experience"

Andy Reid had ZERO OC experience prior to becoming the Eagles HC. Let that sink in -
4 openings left and way more than 4 candidates left in the cycle. Bet the Panthers job looks better now lol

He had such a hard on for the guy that the Panthers never interviewed him at all. idiot

QB Quandary: 2024 Draft, FA Stopgap, or Stand Pat?
MtnJax replied to rayzor's topic in Carolina Panthers
lol you delusional fugers on here that won’t accept that Bryce is gonna be here for the length of his contract and they are going to do everything and give him every opportunity to be the guy during that time. They gave up way too much to give up on him after 1 year. Just fuging accept it and deal with it -
Supposedly Suleiman wanted Fitts to do the trade with the Rams and I would bet as the cap guy it’s because he knew Burns’ demands weren’t feasible

I think at this point they’re not trying to compete with the NFL. I think The Rock realizes their best stance is an extra opportunity for fringe players to get reps and game tape to try and get to the NFL. Always thought the NFL should buy up or at least partner up with the them in some fashion

And it’s been reported many times that LEAGUE WIDE CONSENSUS was Young was the top QB n the draft. So based on your thoughts, fire every scouting department in the NFL

By the time he got the NFL, yeah he was bigger than Bryce , but I was at App when AE was and dude was tiny his first 2 years there. He worked at it though. Remains to be seen if Bryce does

Hope OP doesn’t read Mike McDaniel’s resume if he’s judging successful play callers

Per Schefter: Tepper has hired a search firm to help find HC
MtnJax replied to BlackPanther22's topic in Carolina Panthers
Retained because it’s the same firm he used to hire the CLTFC coach -
I’m starting to think we should’ve just hired Jim Caldwell in the first place. He’s gotta be having a big hand in the offense looking better and guiding TB as a play caller. Things looked VASTLY different on Sunday. Keep the staff as is but make Caldwell the head man

If we ever get word that Tepper stormed into the officials locker room and caused a scene, it’ll make my Christmas. Because he had every right to after all of this bs

Tepper being “incredibly accountable” behind the scenes

Hard to compare Texas HS football to the NFL b/c I’m almost positive that ppl in Texas care far more about their HS football than the NFL -
Bryce skipping the throwing portion at the combine was and still is the biggest red flag to me. At the time I thought it was because he didn’t wanna be exposed throwing to receivers he wasn’t familiar with but I think he knew otherwise. The Pro Day workouts should never be trusted imo

I think he saw what Rhule did bringing in his completely outmatched college staff and wanted Reich to do the complete opposite and not bring in his buddies. He might’ve also seen how Reich’s end went in Indy on offense and didn’t want those coaches either. Either way, he needs to realize that, while trying to bring in the best coaches possible, they still need to be of one mind on scheme and philosophy so it’s a consistent message to the players
