  1. Tepper is what happens if a typical fan on a message board owned a team.
  2. Since it's Christmas and all, I'll just go ahead and help you out with that. Bye bye
  3. Sorry, my well of hope ran dry with this last off-season. Didn't have much in it anyways, but i went in all the way. Until I see results, all I can see is the same poo we've always seen. I'm not buying any more hype or hope without results (wins) first.
  4. When the narcissist is caught in a mistake, his first and main natural instinct is to think, "I can fix this and I can do this myself. I messed it up and it's up to me to fix it", only trying to do things on their own their way is what got them fugged up to begin with and they will always spiral out of control because they think they can fix it. Self reflection is only going to result in him thinking he can get it right this time and doing more to try and get it right. He isn't capable of getting himself out of the way. He's just going to do the same thing again this time, just try to be nicer about it.
  5. If he doesn't get an HC gig and he doesn't get fired, he's going to be here.
  6. Chump change. But could you imagine how embarrassing it would be to have Tepper throw the bank at him only to take less money somewhere, because that's what's gonna happen.
  7. fitt should be fired right after the season. i would be surprised to see that happen. he's tepper's yes man.
  8. when fox was at his peak he was the best. i do think he got lazy with his coaching starting in 2007. melt down at end of 2008 was due to as much fox as it was jake. but yeah, i agree when fox came in he was far more aggressive and did much more with less. rivera got lucky with cam and luke.
  9. job #1) realize i'm not an expert job #2) hire an expert job #3) tell the expert what you want to accomplish job #4) let the expert do their job job #5) stay out of the way
  10. All of this. And use an ad blocker.
  11. I'd rather have him come out of retirement and hit the field than be GM.
  12. Tepper doesn't want a football coach. He wants a life coach. He wants a slick talking motivational speaker/preacher and a "well spoken" QB with good manners you can take home to your grandmother.
  13. I'm not even mad anymore. It's just the most ridiculous thing any professional sports team has ever accomplished. The biggest fail. That's our legacy now. These last 6 years, that's who we are. Not just failures. Epic failures.
  14. There's no way Fitt or anyone in this front office should still have a job. Worst team in the league by far (which, considering the level of sick not just in division, but in conference is quite an accomplishment) and you traded away your first pick....you sold the farm for the first pick and the coaching staff you hired smell of the hunger games, then your head coach gets fired and the whole coaching staff you spent mega millions on us a getting fired too? Wow what a failure. Probably the worst failure in the history of the league. I know it's on Tepper, but the heads that roll on this (and there will be) dont belong to the owner and his wife.
  15. He wants to be involved in it all, and that's the problem. And he's also gotten/earned a bad reputation for being a difficult guy to work for. He's not going to be able to hire the best GM or HC. Partly because they'll have options for better situations (and ours sucks). But he also will be the same guy making decisions he has been. He doesn't know what he's doing. It's all trial and error. We're hoping the blind squirrel finds a nut. And then he's going to be involved in the process. And his involvement messes stuff up. Just being present and having opinions he makes known regularly is a problem because he's influenced by those who have his ear. He's present, but his presence doesn't help
