  1. nobody was saying that reich isn't a problem. it's just becoming more and more evident that tepper is making his hiring decisions worse by micromanaging. he hires bad then tries to compensate by pushing/bulldozing them.
  2. he's yet to show that he isn't stupid. definitely trending towards the stupid range so far. i mean what has he done right? where has he had ANY success at running a pro team? and you definitely need to add into consideration what happened in rock hill with the failed facility down there. excuses can be made, but then it seems like that's all he's done consistently well is make excuses for failed attempts at running either team.
  3. when the people you hire keep failing, maybe....just maybe it's you that are the bigger failure. and he's doing the same thing with his soccer team as well. when it comes to pro sports teams, he knows how to buy a club. he has yet to show that he knows how to run one well or hire people to run one well.
  4. it doesn't matter how good you are if your big boss is constantly not just looking over your shoulder but questioning every decision you make. overbearing pain in the ass micromanaging bosses keep even the best form performing at a high level. i don't care if he's the one that's got the money and the power, he's keeping his hirees from doing their damn job at the best of their ability. i've seen this happen in just about every arena. you want your organization to fail, you nitpick and harrass your employees. you ride their back and you're riding your organization over the cliff. [edit]this isn't to say that hiring reich wasn't a a bad decision. but tepper isn't making it any easier for him or anyone. he makes bad hires and then makes them worse by micromanaging them. it could vey well be that tepper just doesn't know what he's doing in the hiring and overall managing of a football team.
  5. great. tepper has everyone second guessing themselves. we're fugged forever.
  6. this season is having that kind of effect on all of us. just left standing in a pile of poo covered in grease and banana peelings in the middle of a dollar tree parking lot asking "how the hell did i wind up here again?"
  7. how the hell could we not be better than we were with rhule? that's the thing that baffles me. at some point we have to figure out that maybe...just maybe...it's an organizational flaw.
  8. I see possibly a change at GM and maybe a couple changes at position coaches , but we'll ride largely with who we've got next year. Too much money invested in that coaching staff. We're stuck in the suck.
  9. "Burn It Down!" "Burn It Down!" "Burn It Down!" "Burn It Down!" "Train Wreck!" "Train Wreck!" "Train Wreck!" "Train Wreck!" "Dumpster Fire!" "Dumpster Fire!" "Dumpster Fire!" "Dumpster Fire!" any of these will work.
  10. good luck to everyone who will be there or who decide to watch it on the tv. i can't bear this poo anymore.
  11. I never wonder "what if?". Too busy dealing with "what is". What is the benefit in chasing down that trail? What good does it do anyone except to make yourself more miserable?
  12. It's the only choice they have . The question is, who would we trust those decisions with?
  13. you should be. do better. all of you. just do better. be better. it's like y'all are a team full of kickers that got yourself in a slump and can't get out of it. get right.
  14. he's handled it better than Carr. there is no easy fix, but one thing that he needs to happen is for the game to slow down for him a bit and that will happen with time (and a competent OL, WRs, and coaching....
  15. Because of the financial investment and having lost so much on the last one, Tepper isn't going to bail so quickly. Aside from a few position coaches, the coaching staff will largely be the same next year. GM is the only major change I realistically see us making.
  16. Good point. I mean he just lost a bunch of money on Rhule's contract and went absolutely nuts on this group of coaches. Face it, kids, we're stuck and we're fuged. Tepper mat get rid of Fitt, but he's not getting rid of Reich.
  17. i don't know that he's the worse in the league even right now, but he's bad. and he made his wife an active part of all of it as well...which isn't in itself necessarily a bad thing, but do we know anything about her work history or background that qualifies her to make any decisions? i mean she's kind of a mystery. it's just not a good situation at all.
  18. can you imagine how attractive this job will be? worst record in the league and no first round pick?
