(intimidating presence, eh?)

The pic is a screencap from a video profile of Luke that's included on a story page by Bill Voth.

Throwback Thursday featuring Luke Kuechly

It's worth a read.

I chuckled at the screen cap you posted. We have a special kid in Carolina and I am proud to have him on my team. I read the article but I will have to watch the videos after work. I hate that my company blocks some videos.

Really grew into those shoulder pads didn't he

My best friend growing up played quarterback.  He always insisted on shoulder pads that were way too big (it was an ego thing for him).

Sad part was he was actually a pretty good passer, but once he put those enormous shoulder pads on all he could do was throw sidearm.

Nothing I ever said could talk him out of insisting those pads were the size he needed.

    • This is the Saints current QB room, a 2nd round rookie and former 4th and 5th round QBs.  Pretty sad when Rattler is your best option even though Shough is tops of their depth chart for right now. Dude would have been a day 3 guy in the 2024 QB class right there with Rattler.  A paper thin QB class pushed Shough to a day 2 pick.  Expect them to sign a veteran before training camp.
    • D Carr must have really disliked the saints to wait and do this announcement after the draft has passed if he made this call a few weeks before the draft sure they would have approached it and the offseason differently.  oh well will be interesting to see how their qbs perform.  would love to see them roll with Thill and just make the whole offense towards his skillset.  Although sadly would be only playing in about half the games with how often he gets injured.
    • I have to say it's quite fascinating seeing you pivot from months and months of wailing and agonizing about threads derailing into Bryce Young slingfests only for you to turn around and do the same thing. And just for the record. Nobody in life ever attained wisdom and clarity from mistakes by having people blindly fawn over them and tell them they are above reproach and incapable of making mistakes. Our front office is just as human as we are. And based on the fact that front offices across the league outside of a handful of teams change on a fairly regular basis it's safe to say they are certainly no more infallible than the average Joe even though they possess significantly more knowledge usually. If you want a utopia where all you do is shine shoes for anyone associated with the Panthers you go right on ahead and create yourself a new community sir. More power to you.
