Titans, Rams, Falcons, and Cowboys all picked up 1st round OT's.

Same situation could happen with any of them.

Cowboys are gonna play Martin at guard. He was labeled the top OG in the draft. Miami got the 4th tackle.

It would be nice to pick up some good leftovers after the cuts, for depth if nothing else.

As if you know.

i'm just saying that's a pretty specific set of things that have to happen for us to get him that are more unlikely to happen than likely to happen.

first, he actully has to be cut.

second, we have to be interested (which isn't something i would count on)

third, he would have to be interested

fourth, we would have to agree on modest contract compared to what other teams could be offering

fifth, the competition for him would have to be thin enough that the offer we give him doesn't spund too unreasonable for the privilege of playing in charlotte.

and there's probably a whole lot of things i'm missing out on. point is....he could be bringing in a vet from another team, but this guh specifically? just not all that likely.

If I'm Tennessee, I'm moving Oher to guard and bumping Lewan to RT.

Lewan - Oher - Amano - Warmack - Roos

That's a damn good OL.

Why would they move oher to guard when they just signed levitre to a big deal and drafted warmack in the top ten. And schwenke will probably end up being their starting center

    • I wanted someone to hire him so we got the picks, but I'm also not upset that he'll now be back. I genuinely don't understand why so many fans on here dislike him so much.  No, he's not perfect and made some mistakes this year, especially at the end of the playoff game and going so soft in coverage on the final drive. But considering this place torched him all offseason for us having the "worst defense in NFL history" last year.  Said in the whole pre-draft process how we had to go defense in round 1 because of it and then complained the rest of the offseason that we didn't do enough to improve the defensive roster. How do people say all that about the defense and then complain when he turned that same unit into a pretty respectable defense this year.  They were really the only reason we were in a lot of games for most of the season, as the middle part of the season they really stepped up and were playing like one of the better defenses in the league. I don't see any reason we can't improve even more next year if we spend another offseason focusing on adding pieces on that side of the ball, which we should be able to do with our draft picks and cap space.
    • And they are perfect during the month of February! The fact they're 11th in the league now, but best in the league since Dec 6 tells you everything you need to know.
