Tyler Gaffney Panthers Comparison

Just watching his videos it's obvious he has great vision. He's patient and powerful. I don't see how you guys are labeling him as a FB. He has the qualities of a RB. Sure, he can situationally be used as a FB or blocking back but he is definitely a RB first.

Speed, vision, and power.

Well Tolbert really isn't a true FB either. We don't have a true FB other than Brockel. Gaffney appears to be able to fill Tolbert's role in a pinch.

Wasted pick.  Gaffney wouldn't have lasted two seconds had he played in the SEC.  In the NFL?  Please.  Gaffney was a system back for the Stanford Cardinals.  Just about all of the their runners succeed in that system, but they haven't done diddly in the NFL.

While there is no denying the SEC the dominant conference, this is a ignorant comment.  Stanford had 8 games vs top 25 opponent, including defeating the then #1 team in the nation, Oregon.  To say that a guy who got 1,709 yards and 21 TDs vs 8 ranked opponents is pretty dumb of you, and you need to get off your knees in front of the SEC.

so is barner cut? or other? seems NO room unless a injury happens. before the draft, ive even heard mike zordich was making the team. plus the numbers at TE dont help either(over full). i did read a few sites had a 4th round grade on him(meh).

you realize Williams is on the wrong side of the 30 and stew can't stay healthy right? Both with huge contracts hurting the team?

How about we work forward solid replacements in the 6th round.
