and if its a DV.... say goodbye to your firearm rights... the only misdeameanor that can do that...

I'm sure no one here agrees with domestic violence, and we're all smart enough to know everything is speculation at this point, but it really is ridiculously easy to get a man thrown in jail for domestic violence.

Both are misdemeanor charges, not that that should make any difference on your view of what allegedly happened.

Yeah but all of these are considered misdemeanor in NC:

 

• Assault on a Female 
• Communicating Threats 
• Assault by Pointing a Gun 
• Domestic Criminal Trespass 
• Harassing Phone Calls 
• Injury to Pregnant Woman 
• Injury to Personal Property 
• Assault Inflicting Serious Injury 
• Assault with a Deadly Weapon 
• Stalking 
• Interference with Emergency Communication 
• Violation of a Protective Order 
• Assault in the Presence of a Child 
• Sexual Battery

I still don't know why people think Ealy was drafted to replace hardy. Do you know how much money cj is making next year? He is gone.

 

I'm with you. And can't understand why everyone automatically assumed GMan had leverage on Hardy negotiations with that pick. 

 

If anything, G has leverage on the older CJ, with the higher salary. CJ will need to reduce his salary or find a new team.

 

Hardy is still developing. CJ has reached his peak.

      I still think another QB is brought in Day 3. Grier is camp body level at this point.

      We’re in a pickle. My best hope is we protect him and can run the ball vs most Ds and the WRs are healthy so he has every chance to not look like what he looked like in too many games last year.

      I'm really not stressing about upgrading from Bryce. I'm frustrated with our inability (or refusal) to recognize overall bad QB performance and failure to seriously address the issue. QB is the most impactful position on the field, and we're not only settling for what we've been given to this point, but we've rewarded it with a fully guaranteed 5th year extension for a player that's never played 2 NFL franchise QB quality games back to back in 3 seasons. I can't understand how that's ok from a coach's or GM's viewpoint. Successful franchises don't do things like this. It just doesn't make sense.  We do not have a top half of the league QB right now. Since we don't have that player, we should be looking for him. Pickett isn't it. Grier isn't it. Bryce hasn't proven he is yet. Until you have that sure fire franchise QB, you keep looking. You're not consistently making the playoffs, a deep run, or a SB appearance without one.  What's the worst that could happen? We end up with 2 potential number 1 QBs? How horrible.
