What is kugbila role on the team?

Who knows. There's a ton of questions along the OL. Huge question marks at both OT positions, RG is question mark, and then most assume Silatolu will start at LG. Honestly, the only thing we know for sure is that Kalil is the starting center. Beyond that... ?????

He was barely injured wasn't he? No reason he should not be 100% going into camp.

There was something that the public wasn't told. It started out as a simple hammy issue and then the whole situation disappeared, but he never suited up for a game.

DG also said in the day 2 draft presser that Silatolu was further in his rehab process that Kugbilla.

That doesn't sound good. I really liked that kid, especially his story. Hope he can get it in gear.

The guys injury was a hell of alot worse than we knew! He had hamstring issues then came back to soon as had to have surgery on other issues with that leg also had infections in the leg, not sure what the diagnosis was but I remember reading about it sine where if I get a link il post it up, gettleman was high on this guy because he comes from a division two football team doesn't mean he's a bad player! One good thing is he's had time to sit on the sidelines and get acclimated with the schemes and playbook etc and be in the film room without the pressure of olaying as a rookie, I hope he gets fit and healthy and get outhere playing! I seen some of his college tape and he is just what we need I he can replicate that into the nfl! But don't write the kid off because he's injured! Luke Joekel was injured ok he was a first rounder but he played badly then suffered a bad injury, you can't jut write these guys off.

Yeah it started as a muscle pull but I think Gettleman said he had knee surgery.

Yeah he had knee surgery and he had some sort of infection.... I hope the kid turns the corner. Potential wise he could be just as solid as Amini and Turner but he is very raw.

    • Nope. Just waiting for this build to end. I catchup after the games but Im not sitting through that garbage anymore.  Im here to make fun of this team until there is a reason to just enjoy the football again. It's been that way since '21. Watch some, tune out, watch some more, tune out again. I have said it before, this place is way more fun than anything they have fielded in years.
    • I get what you are saying is technically correct but winning a division with a losing record off a loss on a tiebreaker just feels dirty.  The NFC South does not even deserve a team in the playoffs this year.  I wish they would just take the best teams regardless of divisions but it is what it is.
    • Yes but that doesn't prohibit you from being a very effective player. It can mean that you will be played differently in coverage to limit you but that's still going to have skill and usage elements that can nullify it. Point being that I am never going to get overly caught up on the "too small" narrative if the player has elite attributes that are greater than those physical limitations. That's the issue with Bryce. All of the supposed "elite" attributes turned out to be vaporware. So now you get left with a small, physically limited player that has little in the way of skills. Nightmare scenario. Horn is both fast and quick. Yes he is slight but if he were elite in other aspects(vision, route running, hand fighting, hand eye coordination, etc) that would be very much less significant.
