What is kugbila role on the team?

isn't he a projected G in the nfl?

Yeah that's why I created this thread. RG is most likely going to turner and LG is most likely going to amini if he is healthy. That only leaves him as turner's backup or a tackle position.

I mean...I've seen the "projected" stuff from the scouts/experts, etc...and if they drafted Turner to be a center..I don't know what to say.

He wasn't drafted to be a center. He can play center if need be but his best positional value is right guard. At least his scouting reports say so. I have no clue though what the coaches have planned for him so...never mind.

There was something that the public wasn't told. It started out as a simple hammy issue and then the whole situation disappeared, but he never suited up for a game.

DG also said in the day 2 draft presser that Silatolu was further in his rehab process that Kugbilla.

Yes, i did not like that. I have been a supporter of the Kug but now I am starting to get irritated. Either get on the field or get off the team.

last year before the final injuries, kug was taking snaps at C.

this year RR mention him taking some snaps at C.

seems they are playing it smart, i mean there is little to nothing behind kalil. if you are a backup OLman, will you better be able to play more than one spot. simple numbers, most times teams only carry 7 active on gameday. between those two, one better to able to hike somewhat and/or play OT.

i didnt pay much attention when josh norris said recently kug could be a washout. but now after 10 months, hes still rehabbing? i know the injury was much more than a simple(no surgery is) clean out. he may even start on PUP, all it takes is someone hungry enough and panthers could move on. panthers brought in a lot of OG/C types before and after the draft.
