-PFF doesn't grade Keek an A+

"OMG THESE GUYS ARE A JOKE!! SO STUPID!!"

-PFF grades KK very positively

"THESE GUYS ARE SMART! SEE THEY GET IT!!"

So one thread we hate on PFF and the other we love PFF......

Sounds about right.

Not quite sure where I said that I loved PFF, nor am I sure where I said that I hated them.

I don't even think I've posted a single opinion about PFF.

Would you rather me post a Bleacher Report article?

You must have missed PFF's top 100 list or whatever it was.  There's plenty of PFF in those threads.

I'm still not quite sure what that has to do with this thread and loving/hating PFF when the focus is on a promising young player on the Carolina Panthers.

Last year both Kawann and Star were named to the Pro Football Focus all-rookie team and only rated behind the following rookies:

1. DL Sheldon Richardson (+30.4)

2. OG Larry Warford (+22.8)

3. RB Eddie Lacy (+17.8)

3. RB Giovani Bernard (+17.8)

5. WR Keenan Allen (+17.0)

6. DT Kawann Short, CAR (+16.4)

7. LB Kiko Alonso (+16.0)

8. DT Star Lotelelei (+15.1)

(both graded better than Eric Reid, Kenny

Vaccaro, Tyrann Mathieu, etc)

Interesting that Richardson is at the top.

I wonder if we would have taken him if he were still available

I severely doubt it. If we'd drafted him, Richardson would've had a Floyd-like rookie season in a 4-3. Both Sharrif and Sheldon were built to play in 3-4 schemes as DEs. As tempting as he was Gettleman and Rivera made the right choice for defense.

I still think Sheldon can make some noise in a 4-3.

Thd huddle often falls victim to complete and utter homerism. If itsw something negative being sad about the panthers its bad and your bad for posting it. But if you post an article from bleacher report about how klien will be awesome and take over thr starting job this year they eat it up. Bottom line dont criticise the panthers here or you will be stoned.

yeah sorry bud but the two circle jerky responses at the start of this thread have already got this covered

    • Bryce has been in the NFL 3 years and still looks like a very mediocre QB. Most games are nothing but mediocre plays with a highlight reel every now and then.  He is a very INCONSISTENT QB and it’s very fustrating. He does not deserve a 5th year option, even though the Panthers and all the dumb asses in the front office will give it to him.
    • I’ve rarely ever been more sure of anything than losing out — but how can anyone say with a straight face “Bryce hasn’t improved, but Canales has and he’s masks his flaws”. You have to be so out of touch with reality to put one way above the other when discussing those two.
    • Last night was the classic example of a visiting team just holding on through the wave of emotion a home team has at the start of a big time game. Bama’s first two kickoff returns really set them back as far as playcalling and allowed OU to dictate field position. The emotion of the home crowd fed into what OU was doing at that point, and it felt like Bama would not be able to overcome that.     Once the kickoff returner was told to fair catch every kick, the game shifted, as Bama wasn’t starting each drive inside their own 15. It was then that Bama was able to make some plays, outscoring OU 34-7 the rest of the way.  I think the last 3/4 of the game proves Bama was the better team. OU was just able to ride the initial wave of emotion to a big lead, but Bama held on just enough.  However, had OU blocked the punt on Bama’s second drive and scored a TD (vice a FG on the ensuing drive), things likely would have been different.  Anyway, Roll Tide!
