Tats: sexy or no?

I have one tattoo, on my upper arm, that I got when I was eighteen. It's discrete, but not because I'm ashamed of it or anything, but because I realized that even though I wouldn't have an issue with it, some future employers might. I'm not a fan of the folks who go overboard, as I have a friend who gets tattoos just to get them it seems, and she has them everywhere. To me, a tattoo should be about something you love, or cherish, or feel a passion for. It should be deeply personal, and not whimsy, as it will be with you for the entirety of your life (sans laser removal). So, it should also be something timeless, and something you can be proud of even when you are eighty.

As for women and tattoos, they just don't do much for me. If anything, it detracts from her natural beauty, not enhances it. I also realize I'm not in the majority here, but I prefer the women who have none, or at most, the "basic bitch" tattoos, provided they have a meaning. For example, the one above with the full sleeve does't look hotter. If anything, it pulls attention away from a beautiful face, which is distracting and not my cup of tea.

It's all been said. Tatts can be nice if done right.

Potentially my all time favorite is one of the underground musicians I follow. Got a piece of Scott Joplin's "The Entertainer" tatted around his bicep. That's just legitimately cool.

I've thought about getting "Non Timebo Mala", which is "I will fear no evil" in Latin, nice and small in the "under the collarbone-ish" area. Don't think I'd be able to pull off a tattoo though.
